  Neria padded into the sacred halls of the temple, Kiyara at her side. She was eager to see the new comers to the ranks, and was hoping to see her pride-mate join them. Stopping in the center, she offered Kiyara a soft smile and hugged her. "You will do well, Kiyara." She said softly before going to take a seat. Neria did pet Ahdara as the cat curled up to sleep once more. Kiyara nodded to her pride-mate's words of confidence and looked around the temple. She quietly padded up to the statue of Bastet and left an offering of a small cat she had carved by herself. Okay it didn't look...too much like a cat, but she had tried and she was hoping the Goddess would like it. She found a place to sit and waited nervously to try to become a warrior priestess. Kiyara planned to give it her all, and would be proud no matter the outcome. |

Kiyara blinked, but moved to step forward. "Today I bring forth my battle skills for Bastet to judge!" she said proudly, her nervousness turning to excitement. |

 Neferu stepped forward. She was a practiced dancer, and battle was just a different type of dance, was it not? She enjoyed her life as a dancer, but she wished for a higher calling.  Nehkbet had been waiting in the temple for the trials to start for most of the day. She had never really found a place in life where she thought she had a purpose. She had skills with a whip and other various things, but there had never been any pull. After many nights spent in prayer seeking for answers, she had decided perhaps this was what she was looking for. She stepped forward with the other hopefuls. "Today I bring forth my battle skills for Bastet to judge!" |

 Tarset always enjoyed watching Sahret separate out the new recruits into those who were truly worthy of the temple. Her skills were legendary and the dark Sphinx was more than happy to sit back and watch with a cup of cool wine in her paw. |

 Morgan made her way into the temple as she heard trials were beginning. With a nod to her fellow priestesses, she smiled behind that mask of her, one she wore proudly. She remembered how she had gone through the trials and how it was one year ago that she had come to join the ranks. Along with Merlin and Willow at her side, she watched to see those who stepped up to take on Sahret this year. |

 Nubiti followed the group to the temple where she heard hopefuls were going to be allowed to try and enter the order. Warrior priestess and Fine priestess both. She herself was definitely better suited to the Warrior class. She was far too brash for anything delicate. She queued up with the others and approached Sahret. "Today I bring forth my battle skills for Bastet to judge!" she announced to her hostess with a glint in her eye. Even if she lost... this was going to be fun. |

 Souban joined her sister priestesses of Bastet to observe the sacred rituals. This was her favorite part of the festival, waiting and watching to see who Bastet would accept this year. She was also watching to see if anyone was able to match her record. The mask couldn't quite hide her smile as she remembered the feeling of winning on the first round. |
