(Oh goodness thank you! I’ve never actually won the warrior priestess trials in all these years until now ^-^)
Nehkbet was actually stunned by the announcement and stood there staring at Sahret a moment until the other warriors came to usher her away. “Th-thank you, priestess.” She stuttered out and as she walked away, she offered up a joyous, reverent prayer of thanks and praise to Bastet.

 Rhashida joined the watchers following the event due to her ritual prayers taking her focus during the excitement. This event was monumental for the temple and was always greatly enjoyed by not only the most devout Priestess of Bastet, but also other residents of Ahket. She was extremely eager to greet the newest warrior priestess. Her two sons followed at her heels had been reminded to be on their best behavior. As her gaze landed on her husband she leaned down to Maahes and Nefertum to encourage them to rush ahead to greet their father.   The boys hurried without running toward Amass and firmly wrapped their arms around their father. “Hi papa!” They each exclaimed before turning to Ahyne, Oconee, and Aziza and giving their other family members respectful greetings. Rhashida trailed behind. A smile evoked from watching her sons interact with their father and family was perched upon her lips. As she drew near she too greeted her sister-wives before her attention fixed on her husband. She leaned in and placed a kiss on his cheek before she nuzzled in to his chest. |
