My other half has gotten into model making, like large scale houses and map bases, for becoming a DM.
He's been furloughed since march and it's given him focus.
Was still sneaky by getting to make my own character and then buying it and getting it printed.

Just got back from my parents' house. It was one of the best Christmases we've had with them in years. Our internet is out though. There are issues across the country because there was an explosion at an AT&T facility in Nashville.

Yeah. We live about an hour and a half south of there, so it's probably going to be a bit before we get it back. It's a minor inconvenience for us, but I feel really awful for all the people that couldn't connect with their families because of it. And there are way more important things to fix first like emergency communications.

From my mom I got the Holiday Breyer horse, Mulan dvd, unicorn ornament, a pair of comfy socks and a large Hershey bar. From a friend...I'm still waiting on the rest of the package, but they'd sent something directly to me. That got here on time...and it's a Scar plush!! Build-a-Bear came out with a Scar plush from the animated movie...and it sings!! I love it!! Now normally my mom would be all 'really? why?' and annoyed, but she saw the Scar plush and was like 'oh that's cool!!' and it was genuine! It only sings a small portion of Be Prepared, but it's awesome!! It's sitting beside me right now XD

Deviled eggs, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and pies are all done. Ham is in the oven, but it is taking longer than we thought because we forgot to thaw it. We also have corn and rolls, which we'll heat once we get to the parents' house, and some potato salad. The best part, though, is the soup we make with the leftover ham. XD Yum! ,just everything yum, (-8 I've been super craving a leftover ham soup myself since rayvin posted her ham and bean soup earlier. I love and usually make a pea soup, but I might try a bean one next time! Who won the drawing draw and I can’t draw draw? I meant to do it early today but caught up in cooking... and then eating and then watching wonder woman and then some more eating, (-8 Should get it randomized tomorrow, (-8 also, beignets! I just thought they would look all snowy and festive, (-8   *now adds pho to deviled eggs on list of things I need to make* That's a sweet mini Minkey55! |

We had a very white Christmas here. But I havent been feeling the greatest (its typical MA sickie stuff so no need to worry about me!) so planned things kind of didnt happen.
Its ok though. Brandon is doing a 'drop off' drive by to some family members today. It will be worth the wait..he make his famous risotto for them.
noone..and I mean it--can beat his risotto >> Everyone loves it.
Gizmo..seems to be very cuddlebug though. AND hes learnt how to jump on the sofa and take my throw for himself, the bugger>>

Looks like most everyone is having a good few days, (-8 I'm stuffed full of doughnuts and leftovers and hot tea... and wrapped up in a nice fancy scarf Pooka's mom sent me for Christmas which I love!
Now let me get those random lists set up... we need to have those Ghost Hunters at the ready in case any other spirits show up for Selene IV!
