I tried my hand at crocheting wire today. Made a crocheted wire ring, Didn't turn out to bad. XD thought it was a neat mix of my two favorite hobbies. (Jewelry making and crocheting) <3

By crocheted ring, you mean like a ring you wear on your finger Rayvin? I've never heard of crocheting wire before! (looks at piles of copper wire on desk...)
Today I made a pork katsudon! It was sooo super yummy and turned out perfectly, (-8 (Deep fried pork cutlet, similar to a shnitzel, served with a home made sauce, on rice with a cabbage salad, (-8) It's something I really love but have never made before... plus it was sooo pretty I should have taken a picture, (-8
So, deep frying is what I've been up to, (-8 ...and working on some files for the Heb (and 3 other future events...) and peeking over to see the delightful stuff Pooka's been creating!

Yes a ring for your finger. Sorry I wasn't specific 😅 honestly I didn't know you could crochet wire either i just happened to come across it in a crochet search I did. Is pork katsudon similar to pork katsu? I've had pork katsu before, though I've never tried making it. Is it difficult to do? *tries to peek at future pretty things* Edit- Here is the ring if you wanted to see. |

Oh, yes, a katsudon is just a katsu with with rice... (Katsu - deep fried cutlet of something, and the Don (short for donburi) suffix means rice bowl literally but can also just mean served on rice.) ...and it was super super easy! I think the only thing is that I don't usually deep fry often... so once I usually end up doing a bunch of dishes in order to reuse the oil. I'll put the simple recipe in the recipe thread tomorrow, (-8 Its one of those things where it is just so easy but still comes out better then anything you could order and is actually also super cheap too... I like that combination of words, (-8
...and it's a bit early for previews, but I guarantee the pretty is pretty, (-8 very very pretty, (-8

Oh ok XD I've had that then lol it was usually pork katsu donburi (or in one of my fave animes a pork cutlet bowl XD) I hadn't heard the short combined name or at least I didn't remember it XD It sounds simple to make though I might try it sometime. I love trying new things out especially Asian cuisine.  we tried Tamago Kake Gohan out one time and though it tasted good, though the texture wasn't really for me. XD BUT it did inspire one of our favorite quick breakfasts, which is fried eggs (usually cooked over medium) on rice. add salt and pepper to taste and a little soy sauce. its just soo good. |

I wish I was more confident with deep frying stuff. There's so much yummy food out there! I also just don't eat enough fried food to get good at making it ;_; The katsudon sounds delicious, though!
