Whelp, as people know we were watching the entire Naruto and Naruto Shippuden series. We 'just' finished it today, and I was crying away. ^^; ( nearly always cry at the end of a series.) It took ages of watching the show pretty much daily, often numerous episodes a day, but I liked the ending a lot. Now, onto Baruto!

I love giving out candy! It brings back all the joy of being a kid and getting candy from the neighbors, and then proceeding to "trade" candy with my classmates once the school week started again XD

Great!  I just needed to know for timing of plots and if we could schedule part of it on Halloween. ^_^ (ETA) Just a note again for those who didn't see, we should be starting this short event on the 20th. |

I love handing out candy. We don't usually get many trick-or-treaters sadly. Most of the local children go to Trunk-or-treats at the local churches. And with Halloween being a Sunday this year, yeah... even the neighborhood kids aren't likely to come by.

Sang and I will disappear briefly in the evening, but otherwise we will be on all day for Halloween.
(We haven't told him yet, but we re visiting a Pumpkin Patch on Friday!)

I've been having so much fun playing with Pooka's new stuff, (-8 *looks forward to showing things off on the 20th!* ...also I've been super quiet... I've been full steam ahead on too many projects at once but we're getting close to finishing up two of them nearly at the same time. The plan was a bit different but switching art programs tossed a bit of a monkey wrench into the works. happy thanksgiving to the other Canadians I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We didn't do to much this year... I'm not sure what we'd do with a huge meal nowadays but I did still go crazy and made some beets and squash, (-8 I should really go back and watch it now that it has been done for a while. If I had one note to anyone jumping in it would be that in the first little while of the series the main character seems kind of annoying which almost puts some people (including Pooka!) off, but trust me it super pays off if you stick with the story and learn more about him... My best spot was taking one of my stuffed animals (a cool snake plushy) and cut one of the seems open to remove the stuffing and fill it with the best candy, then pin it closed, (-8 I love handing out candy. I lived in rural areas for a lot of my childhood so trick or treating was very different... you'd get driven to different farms in the 'neighbourhood' and every stop you get a huge pile of stuff, often much of it homemade! (I guess things are quite a bit diff now, but also everyone knew everyone!) You'd always get the awesome classics like candied popcorn balls or decorated brownies along with the usual bags of candies, (-8 Sang and I will disappear briefly in the evening, but otherwise we will be on all day for Halloween. I love fall/Halloween themed anythings (-8 They do this fun thing in Sudbury (and a few other places around the world if your looking) at Science North where they do big carved pumpkin displays. There's also music and a fun little shop with goodies, (-8 I'm not sure if it's open this year... We'd probably go every year but they don't mix things up very much... I think it would be more fun if they switched themes or mixed up the displays a bit more!  |
