If I had one simple note about Anime for anyone unfamiliar, it would be to remember that Anime is really just a medium, like saying 'Comic book' or 'Movie'. While there are lots of popular tropes and genres you can find everything of Heartbreaking Dramas to Action Series to Hilarious Comedies, any of which would be just as awesome if it were in any other medium. I often find that many people who've never experienced Anime have only seen hints of some of the much much weirder stuff, like Culturally specific humour that is hard to grasp... and as a medium people are always experimenting and pushing the art form which is awesome but does also create some misses or super weird stuff, (-8

Lately, I've been practicing making raindrop cakes, and my friend sent me his recipe for Dango, but I've been meaning to make some Taiyaki. Savory-wise, I'm looking into making some Tsukiyaki soon.

I have not made mochi yet. I plan to try. Especially the mochi ice cream. The stores also sell ramune around here and it is delicious! We have an asian market nearby as well

Wonder if the cherry tree in my parents backyard has started to blossom yet. I doubt it..its usually a late bloomer but I forgot to ask when I was talking to my brother.
