Ah, there needs to be a word for this... that feeling when you watched an awesome season of tv, loved every part of it including the end, but you are both super satisfied and happy but also sad that there isn't anymore, at least atm. Yup, there needs to be a word for that!

It sounds like the second season of Spy x Family was really good! I started watching it and half way through I realized the tone of it kind of changed. Maybe they got new writers for S2 and it seemed a tad bit darker than the light hearted S1. I'll take it as a sign to pick it up then :3
In the mean time, I've been watching the new K-drama My Demon xD It's all sorts of whacky!

I've loved every second of Spy x Family, (-8 I figure the series will be a constant tone shift between light and dark which is what makes it lovable! I think the setting is so very dark and the characters are all kind of tragic but they make each better and it lets their quirkiness shine, (-8
Also, following the Demon Slayer trend it seems the movie is tearing it up in Japan atm. I can't wait to see it!
...and My Demon is on my watch list, but 'all sorts of whacky' is a def selling point for me to bump it up, (-8
and in a complete tonal shift, I've also been enjoying Monarch and the new Percy Jackson shows!

Am I the only person who gets weirdly nervous that my Master Balls are right beside my commonly used poke balls, like I am afraid I'll use one by accident? It's probably silly, but I wish I could move it over somewhere else for when I want to use it!

It’s been ages again since I checked in here
Has anyone considered using discord server to keep in touch? I tried looking through threads to see if this has been brought up before or not and didn’t see anything. Also since I know pooka and Mr are big into dnd have you guys gotten into baldurs gate 3?

Hiya Kalypsi! like Angel mentioned, we do have a tiny discord but I don't usually use it much... my last couple of laptops just didn't agree with discord but I might get to using it a bit more with my newest one. There's a linktr.ee link at the top of every page with all our current relevant Sphinx places and there's a discord button in there, (-8 ------- there's a couple of players around who are deep into Baldurs Gate and I've only heard great things from people who have played it, (-8 Pooka and I are currently doing our own home DnD rpgs, (-8 ...and of course running DnD themed Sphinx events, (-8 sphinxes.proboards.com/thread/1067/adventures-north(the dark elf threads are still open, but on a bit of a pause while we catch up from our Yule event, but we'll be getting back to them in the new year!) |

...also, everyone in the world likes to use dicord but me right? I must be missing something, (-8 I really must try to use it a bit more now that I can... but as a general question posed to anyone interested, why do you like it and use it? ..and would anyone be interested in more Sphinx things on discord, or just as a mailing list sort of thing for announcements?

I like using discord to chat with friends and such. Since Yahoo instant messenger and AOL Instant messenger went bye bye, I went to discord. I actually like it more than YIM and AIM honestly. As for Sphinx things on discord...I think maybe just a general mailing list sort of thing would be fine

I could probably do that... at least now! The last several years I've been working on some pretty messed up laptops and all sorts of websites with graphics or video or whatevers would just take them out, like literally overheat and crash. (I actually was afraid the last one was going to catch fire the day the battery burned out!) Loading discord was like putting on a literal bomb countdown of how long I had before crashing... but the new one seems good for now, (-8
I could probably do announcements at least, (-8 or, if I keep forgetting about it maybe someone here might not mind being a discord herald, (-8
