Oh, I will say though me, personally (and this obviously will differ for people), am really interested in growings than more breedings right now, so I'm not sure if there might be some room to do both or not?

I wrote up a really long post, but I decided to limit myself to this.
Rasa's proposal:
Specific slots like we do for customs. "Normal" slots would be Egyptian x Egyptian straight to adult pairings ONLY. Then you could designate the others "Netjer" "Crossbreed" "Djet" "Hieroco" "Crio" whatever you wish. These also are straight to adult unless designated with "Multistage". To get the multistage slot, you would need to PROVE you needed those stages for character/ RP purposes. You can put any caveat you want on these "Normal - no phoenix tails" "Djet - no quetzal traits" "Normal - Mr. Pooka colored only" "Chaos potion" etc.
Claiming a slot requires a full form within a short time frame of asking for the slot. Payment must be made within 24 hours or the slot is relinguished. Slots can be claimed by any colorist who is available and confident in their ability to do the breeding. If Pooka wishes, she can set aside some slots specifically for her or any other colorist. Each colorist could have their own post in the thread to open slots when they have time with their own individual restrictions as well and of course after checking with Pooka. So in theory you'd have "Anyone slots" for a general breeding season. Then a Pooka post, Mr. Pooka post, Retta post, and Jean post if she wanted in on it to use for personal slots either during the general breeding season or outside of with permission.
I hope this all made sense. ^^;

Thank you so much for your input guys! There have been some really helpful suggestions and are taking these into consideration as we're mulling over how to go forward. ^_^

So...I went to the carnival last night. I haven't been to carnival in a long time. I got there ten minutes before it 'opened', but they were still letting people in. It was...small, but it was nice to get to a carnival again. I scoped out the food, but I had already planned to get a funnel cake no matter what. Yea, I was going to pass on the food due to the prices, but despite the price for the funnel cake, I was still getting one. I also scoped out the games to see what I wanted to play. There was one game where you had to stand a bottle up on a slightly slanted stand using just a ring on a string on a pole. The prizes were huge. I mean literally. There was a 4 foot tall Papa Smurf and Smurfette, they had some Pikachu and Squirtle plushes that were at least three feet tall and they had some others. Yea...gods no XD I don't need a stuffed animal THAT big, lol. I did try that game though. I almost had it. I only paid for one game, which was fine, I only wanted to try once. I stayed AWAY from the fish game! That's the last thing I needed to do, bring home a goldfish, lol. Okay well I did go over and look mainly because the bigger 'goldfish' in the one tank were REALLY pretty. There was another game where you tossed basketballs into a hoop. That one I was tempted because the hoops were huge, you couldn't miss and they had some other pokemon plushes that were more reasonable size. There was Pikachu, Eevee, Gengar, Grookey, Scorbunny, Charizard and a couple others. I would have played to get a Charizard because it wasn't one of those cheapy made ones, but I would have had to dump at least $30 to $40 dollars into the game to even get enough prizes to level up to the 'extra large' prizes, which were the pokemon ones. Yea, no, I was on a strict budget. That plan was 'play a couple of games, get funnel cake, go back to apartment before it gets dark'. I did just that. There were a couple of balloon pop games, but the prizes didn't really thrill me. There was one of those ladder climb games and they had a three foot tall Charizard. Tempting, but no...Dad would have shot me, lol. Plus that would have been a pain to carry all the way back to the apartment...which was a 20 minute 'hike'. Nope. There was one of the water gun race games, there was a 'toss a banana into monkey's mouth' game and a few others. Another game I tried was the cork gun. You could either go for one cup or three and you shoot til you win. I did the 3 cups. Pretty much, use the cork gun to shoot the cups off the shelf. So I paid the $10 for the three cups, he loaded the gun with a cork and handed it to me. Three shots straight and I had my cups. He went 'wow, that was fast' and I said 'I do cowboy action shoots with my Dad' and he went 'oh man, if there were a thing, you wouldn't see me here' as he collected the cups. I laughed and grabbed my wallet and grabbed my S.A.S.S.(Single Action Shooting Society) card out and went 'Oh it's real and I've been a member for twenty four years' as I held the card up. He looked at the card and went 'oh that is so cool!!'. Turns out I had won three small prizes with my cups, which equaled one medium prize. The medium prizes were...dumb except for the plush roses, so I went smart and got one of the roses. I then wandered around a little more, looked at the other games again, watched some of the rides, felt my stomach do flips as I watched the Ring of Fire ride(I went on it once YEARS ago at another carnival I went to with Mom...gods never again) and I also got video of the Ring of Fire. Then I scratched something off my own Bucket List. I rode a mechanical bull...twice. I remember Mom telling me how she had done that years ago and she enjoyed it and she managed to hang on pretty long. I've always wanted to try it and saw how fun they were. When I saw the mechanical bull, I kept thinking about it, but then I heard a little voice in my head go 'go for it!'. I think Mom was on my shoulder. So I paid the money for the two rides. Oh...man...I loved it!!! First ride I lasted 8 seconds. Second ride I lasted about 14. It was so much fun!! Given I've watched the PBR(pro bull riding) for so many years, I knew how to do it. Tie in, situate yourself, breath, nod when ready and keep the arm up and keep your eyes on the head. I did pretty good for that being my first time. It was great. The woman running the controls got a couple pictures of me on the bull...not while it was moving though...but I needed proof I did it. She loved it and was laughing and going 'did you like it? You did so well!! You looked like a real cowgirl up there' and I said I loved it, it was great and told her about how Mom told me about them, how I watched the PBR for many years and that I've been on bucking horse before(which I have been). It was great!! When I figured it was time to get out of there, I got in line and grabbed a white birch beer soda from the Fire company's tent, then went across the way and got my funnel cake. It was really good. I actually was there for about 2 hours. I managed 7 bites of my funnel cake and then managed the 20 minute walk back to the apartment without devouring it. I got back to the apartment, set my funnel cake aside for snack, put my soda beside where I sit, got changed and got something for dinner. Nothing big. The funnel cake was sooooooo gooooood though when I had it for snack. Despite the size, it was a fun little carnival. Maybe next year I'll go on a couple rides and play a few more games. Yes I got pictures, here they are...spoilered for the amount I have

I'm over here rolling in laughter. XD Watching season 24 Worst Cooks.
It's a celeb edition; stars from various shows from the 90s. The nostalgia is HIGH. but also.. my fave of the contestants is just like me when replicating the dishes. It's hilarious.

Mr. Pooka It was a nice little carnival. I'll go back next year. If I could send you some of the birch beer and the white birch beer I would. A-Treat is good. Sweetintoxikation I haven't watched that show in a while. I like watching Chopped, Beat Bobby Flay, Bobby's Triple Threat, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, Guy's Grocery Games, Tournament of Champions, Outchef'd, Alex vs America, BBQ Brawl and the baking ones. Out of all the channels I have...Food Network is one of the ones I watch the most, lol

Food Network has always been one of my #1 channels I watch. I've also always watched Master Chef because I love seeing people be creative. So I get it. It's also where I like to PRETEND I know something about cooking. XD
I only know basics and I like to play in my kitchen.
For this Thursday I'm baking a pound cake to go with strawberries and whipped cream. Looking forward to treating my family to a homemade pound cake.

Yea, it's a good channel. I've never watched Master Chef. Oh I also loved watching Iron Chef with Mom. It was great. We loved watching them cooking and then trying to guess as to who was going to win. I finally figured out the 'trick' as to tell who was going to win. I figured out that the Chairman would be ever so slightly turned towards who the winner was going to be. It wasn't really noticeable, but I caught it the one time and then when there were repeats on, I again noticed it and that's how I caught it. Mom asked me the one night how I knew and I told her, so the next episode we watched, I pointed it out to her and she did see it.
We also watched Restaurant Impossible every now and then. It was interesting to see what he could do.
I know the feeling. I know the basics and I also like to play around in the kitchen. As it is, I found a little tweak for the Kraft mac and cheese that I LOVE. When I mix in the butter, powder and milk, I get that all mixed around and then I add in about a tablespoon of vanilla caramel liquid coffee creamer, then mix that all in. It's really good.

I used to watch tons of the cooking channel/food network back in the day (like, what now feels like old timey shows like the original Emeril and I also loved Iron chef!) ...I also used to love even older cooking shows from the 70s/80s that really built my kitchen work foundations, (-8 (Like Wok with Yan and the Frugal Gourmet...) Though nowadays Youtube is most often my cooking channel of choice. Though you have to know what to look for! I love great finds like Jack Pepin adding all his old stuff or new takes on classics, but I can't stand looking up a recipe then watching someone just trying a recipe and in the end they fail at cooking it? Why is that even an option for a video that promises a recipe? Yikes! My current fav is this guy! It's a satisfying mix of interesting cooking methods with a touch of ASMR... www.youtube.com/c/wildernesscooking/videos

Those are beautiful Arcane!! I also want to echo my support for some of the proposed ideas on the breeding/growing front. I know personally I wouldn’t mind paying extra for something more than a standard breeding i.e. a little one with complex markings and many traits. I like the level concept Retta proposed, but agree there are likely some considerations to make with Wolfy’s sentiments about the risk of trait rolling etc. Unless traits can be selected rather than left up to chance. Although I like Sio’s suggestion of coloring all stages at once I also agree that’s a lot of work upfront. Especially when the person may not be interested in growing the cub. Perhaps this is a question that could be asked upfront and be factored into the price? Anyway thought I’d drop my two cents seeing as I finally popped in over here lol
