Current Hobbies - canning and dehydrating! I've put up a ton of canned salmon and I've been getting my money's worth from my dehydrator... piles of beef jerky (so good and it's like printing money with the price of jerky!), bags of soft dried apples (just like I used to buy from the Mennonite communities down south) and a few misc things to try like cucumber and radish chips (both passably ok for snacks... I may need to tinker with flavours to make them better...) I've also got a stocked freezer with other wild goods like fish and berries. It's been a productive season!
...also my Christmas Cactus is just starting to explode with so many flowers it's kind of wild! ...I'll take a pic later, (-8

Ooo I love shows like Supernatural and a few others from the early/mid 90s that involved a monster of the week style of story telling. What method did you use to watch the Kolchak episodes?
And From... LOVE IT. I also watched the whole series (As it's available on Netflix) of Evil. I will say for that (in terms of horror) I loved season 1 WAY more than season 2 or 3.
Also, I've been SUPER fan of the anthology horrors. Black Mirror, American Horror Stories, and a few Japanese anime styled similarly. I'd highly recommend those!
Sorry... I'm a big fan of horror shows as my 'noise in the background'.
And I've found a new love for London Fog Lattes. .... I Should make one today >.>

I Should make one today >.> Kolchak might be a tricky one to find... in Canada it's on Apple Tv, but idk if its the same south of the border... it's very easy to find all over the place though, but again there might be differences between CA and US sites. ...as a 70s show it's more in danger of just disappearing though I'm surprised it's not streaming somewhere like Roku TV or Tubi! ...and From is still so good! I was a little afraid that the creators didn't know where they were going and could write themselves into a corner (like some of their previous shows) but I've been super happy with this season as well and it's just excellent! Evil is def one of the best, I LOVED that one so much and was sad when it ended... It could really use a Movie wrap up (-8 Pooka and I also devour most horror/scifi anthology series as well, (-8 We're a bit behind on Black Mirror (I think a few seasons stressed out Pooka, lol) but were just about done the current American Horror stories. I think there's been a few more misses this season but a few episodes are sooooo good! (I loved the hospital one, omg, so scary and with a great story!) I'm also neck deep in my traditional October horror movie marathon... usually after I tuck Pooka in, (-8 I think the best I've watched recently was the Maxxxine/X series. I honestly didn't think I'd like the first one... but was very wrong and loved the two sequels as well! ...London Fog... *looks confused and goes to google...* I've heard it mentioned but don't know what it is!? |

Some places add vanilla. :D And I agree on all the other stuffs. Love this time of year for me. hehehe BRING THE SPOOKS |

I have not been watching much, but I have been prepping my sims 4 game for the new expansion being released on Halloween.
Already love the addition of ghosts being fully playable now and able to be created at the beginning of a game now

I have not been watching much, but I have been prepping my sims 4 game for the new expansion being released on Halloween. Already love the addition of ghosts being fully playable now and able to be created at the beginning of a game now I used to be pretty obsessed with Sims. But then first they stopped supporting new windows updates with 2, then playing 3 my desktop computer broke (right after I bought an upgrade so I could play sims better, and a new expansion arrived in the mail) and I've been using a laptop since. It wouldn't be able to handle the game so no sims for me. |

You could add them into your household, but this will give them power trees as well. Like they gave Vampires, Werewolves, and Magic Users. Wills are a thing, customizing Tombstones. The whole works and Tarot are in as well. So happy to get a pet raven on top of it all!

Totally off topic...
With my recent interest in valkyrie characters, and watching Vikings Valhalla, I was moping because I haven't been able to get mead at the liquor store. I had it once, a very dry bitter one, over 20 years ago and they haven't had it again since. I've tried to order it online to have it shipped to the store but no luck... until I checked again recently!! They had a couple types/brands of mead! So I ordered one of each bottle. I'm kinda excited waiting for it to get here. I'm so very curious what a decent one tastes like.

Last night I drew... probably the last of my valkyrie characters. (Unless I get more inspiration. >.> ) She's the full valkyrie who keeps bringing back monstrous heroes to Freya trying to have them made into lesser valkyries. lol |
