Drank last night, working on it today. I figure tomorrow I'll start processing it. Today I just need something else.

I’m processing it through gnome doodles.
In all honesty I highly recommend just for a little brain swap.
But know that I am also sending hugs and squishes to everyone processing anything this morning.

Even I'm having trouble processing things this morning. I'm super extra happy to be Canadian right now and even I'm still scared.
On a plus note, since Mr. Pooka was up all night watching news, and up early watching news... he went back to bed for a nap. So during that time I opened the 'to do' list for the next Heb and started getting through some of the rough drafts... and they're looking good. ^_^

I finished a writing project so I could pretend I lived in a different world for a bit. I admit that I'm glad that it's over, at least. The band-aid has been ripped off, and the horrible commercials will stop.

I tried to get into a book with not much luck, so I might just switch over to playing the new Sims 4 game Life and Death expansion pack (where everything is just silly, lol). That and make myself some comfort food in the form of a bowl chicken noodle and lemon soup ^^

I've been playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard. Drinking wasn't helping anything...so why not go be a hero!

So, sorry aboot your democracy, eh. I could probably go on about just how absolutely and completely insane this is, but instead I found a great Top Ten list of the last time... though the Top Ten goes to 75 and doesn't even have some of the highlights I would have added... robertreich.org/post/762010231403429888...or you can look at my christmas cactus! a couple days ago.. and today!

It's soooo pretty! I don't think I've ever seen anything like that before. I'm very envious of people that can grow things. I killed a cactus once as well as any other plant I've ever tried to grow. Why is it called a Christmas cactus? The name seems to indicate that it would bloom in December to me.
The very first part of this is me with plants... XD

My mother was like that with plants too, she killed cactuses. We had a lot of plastic plants in the house. lol
Mr. Pooka's mom was just a plant wizard. She had the largest and most beautiful gardens that I had ever seen in somebody's yard.

Did I share photos of our plant wall? >.>
I used to be TERRIBLE with plants. But since we had the office and only 1 person to care for plants.. I've gotten better...ish.
<.< Though I've almost killed my little aloe plant. Because I can't re-pot it. It keeps poking me SUPER bad. q.q

I had to check my plant lore to make sure... but correct! In most places it blooms in the early winter so it's often called a christmas or thanksgiving cactus (depending on which holiday someone's trying to capitalize on, (-8) and def beats Schlumbergera! I learned a thing looking it up which I found interesting! It comes from Brazil but due to seasons being the opposite in the Southern Hemisphere, down there it is often called a May Cactus! neat!
My mom often had them around and I loved them as a kid... I got one for Pooka last year and it's just been tucked away in a bedroom window all year waiting to bloom again and it's soooo pretty! They are also super easy to grow and share... the individual connected, uh, cactus parts? lol, idk what the pieces are called, either way, you can just break one off, stick it in the earth and it'll start to grow a new one, (-8 (when I brought it home I found a piece had broken off while traveling and did just that... and it's also coming along nicely!)

Can I get advice on the Christmas cactus? I just got my first one a few days ago! It's a pretty reddish orange. From what I gather, water twice a month, make sure it does t get waterlogged and keep it away from direct sun?
I may be devoted to the garden but I'm relatively new to the indoor succulent gang ( by New I mean I got my aloe plant last year a d a blue agave in April. And now a Christmas cactus.
Is a balanced fertilizer at half weakness OK?

Please ... pardon the pink framed sign. >.>; I got some close-ups of my faves/babies I've had to save... (coughacoupleoftimescough) from withering away. XD My money plant also has its own pups now! (SUPER proud of this one; I bought it as a pup last year). The 2 prayer plants are my big babies. I had to finally stake both because they kept creeping TOO far into the other plants. XD The lime one is happier higher up right now. The red.... is miffed with me a little. >.> I also had to prune it a touch because it was getting leggy with no leaves. My spider plant there, just got the put upgrade. I originally bought it in a group lot on Amazon and that baby came in with only 1 leaf remaining and the root intact. I managed to bring it ALLLL the way back. ^^
