We kinda had to vanish this week. I had a 'little' doctor's appointment that turned into yet another minor procedure of getting a 3 cm (or about one and a half inches) deep trench cut out under my armpit. *sheesh* But, it's been a couple days of pain, and now a home nurse is coming over every couple of days again. It's been distracting. >.<
On an up note, save for the last few days off, I've been working hard at the event for the end of February. I think it's coming along well. ^_^

Random Pokemon question... Does anyone have and 'middle evolution' pokemon that actually make their favorite list? I do like Haunter, and I occasionally see Dragonair on some lists, but I always feel that the Charmanders and Charizards are so much more popular then the Charmeleons... I can't wholly figure out why and it's been on my mind. Perhaps its a design thing or maybe some players like cutesy little Pokemon or big scary Pokemon and the middle one is just sort of there, or... idk? ah, deep philosophy with Mr. Pooka... I think it's because the middle evolutions are that awkward teen stage that all animals seem to go through. Tai was so ridiculously gangly during that phase. Head too big, limbs too long, middle too skinny, patchy fluff. It was bad. XD You do have some middle stages though that were originally first stages i.e. clefairy, jigglypuff, and of course pikachu. Then you have the middle stages that were originally the final stage until they added another evolution such as seadra, golbat, and rhydon. Worst middle-stage pokemon to me... is quilladin. I dislike that entire line, but quilladin is just awful! Oh, right, I forgot about some of the pokemon that were first evolutions that became retroed into middle forms! I NEVER think about Pikachu as a middle form! ..and I like your notes about the teen phase... but it gives me some funnier ideas for new lines that might also make the middle evolution fun... like have the cute child phase but then the rebellious angsty teen/punk/goth middle phase but follow that up with the fairly normal respectable businesswoman/stay-at-home-dad final phase! cute kid phase  "I'm cute and get into adorable trouble sometimes!" cool teen phase  "You could never understand my feelings DAAAADDD" and finally, respectable adult  "Ah, nothing more satisfying then getting my taxes filed on time, I say!" |

I don't know if it'd make my top favorites, but Torracat is definitely my favorite of the Litten line and as far as I'd let mine evolve to. XD And I really love Quilava! I think most of my absolute favorite Pokemon are two-stage evolutions, though, and I tend to love both stages! Like Houndour/Houndoom, Noibat/Noivern, and Skiddo/Gogoat! Oh, yes, Torracat is cool and makes the list, (-8 ...then takes a wild swing into antro furry town! ...though I got a bit more use from inciniroars in my South Asian themed RP where they fit just nice... Ohhh, whenever I try to figure out my fav pokemon I start to spiral down rabbit holes, often ruled over by different characters I play who have their own prefs... |

I love haunter way more than gengar, and it is one of my favorites. Besides that one, I don't think I have any favorites that are middle stages, but I tend to think that the more humanoid middle stages look best, ones like kirlia or steenie. Corliss with swirly eyes...: Haunter is the one... ..and I get the notes about some of the humanoid ones, and maybe a couple others, where it seems the third form is sort of... overdesigned? Like they want to kick things up but don't quite know how and it just gets a bit wacky? |

I absolutely love Seadra. Horsea is cute, and I'm not the biggest fan of Kingdra's look, but Seadra's so awesome! I totally have to admit I had to look up the differences... I just saw them all as sea horses I needed to fill my pokedex with, (-8 ...but I can see the diff side by side and can totally see where it's fans could have a pref! I think the only fishy pokemon that tend to get on my teams are the ones on their way to Garados and Milotic, (-8 (though like many, there's always a soft spot in there for the ever useless magikarp...) |

I am with you on Haunter all the way. I adore that one. I also love Dragonair, Roselia, and Torracat are amongst my favorites. Oh yea! Roselia is totally cuter than Roserade, good catch! |

I actually find charmeleon to be my favorite of that evolution. A part of me is happy that someone likes the grumpy looking middle child, (-8 Even his Japanese name (Lizardo) feels a bit like a place holder between cute and full dragon! ...though, he is still a lot cooler then many new gen Pokemon, imo, (-8 |

See now i like Pidgeotto, haunter, bayleef and Linoone rather than their final forms. Obstagoon is kinda odd to me, Meganium is just too big. This sprite of Pidgeot still weirds me out  I always loved Linoone, but really liked the Obstagoons when they added them, (-8 For a while I played a whole band team of just 5 Obstagoons and my Rillaboom, (-8 I also kind of like the big ones... Tyranitar (who I always imagine as waaaaaay bigger because of the show) and most of the dinosaur ones, especially aurorus who is just so pretty! |

This is the second day with near 0 clouds. Seedy saturday was yesterday and another seedy saturday (in a city 15 minutes away) is next saturday. Im dragging my mom there to try to get the last of the seeds I want (mainly a few companion plants. Im OCD this year and want specific colours of things...pink nasturtiums. White marigold. I have those seeds, just not those COLOURS.
She is going to pick out the seeds she wants this year for me to grow.
And then I sit on my hands and wait till march.

We went to a Curiosities and Oddities expo yesterday!
It was huge and A LOT but there were so many cool things to look at! Lots of skulls, taxidermy, animal bones, cool art, handmade things, very wicked stuff. :3< I got a painted pine martin skull with a 'crown' of crystals, and a bat voodoo doll! Definitely wished I was wealthy while I was there. XD There was a full-length coffin shaped mirror I LOVED, and all these neat things that would have made just. Ugh, the perfect décor for my house. ;w;

Yes, I definitely want to see pics of the garden once everything is all blooming, MA! I have such a black thumb that I think it's amazing that people can manage to grow things. XD
