After stepping through the portal created by the witch Mayolin you arrive on the outskirts of a city. The land itself is shockingly different from Khemet with lush rolling hills of vibrant green.

The floral Beltane sphinx Cattleya bounds up to greet you.

Cattleya: "Hello all! Welcome to Inisfail! There is an important wedding ceremony happening today where the bride and groom have an afterparty open to all! They really know how to celebrate Beltane in these parts being where the festival originated. So there should be much merriment all over this land."

The whole city of Caitbaile was celebrating the Beltane Wedding of Aoibhe and Teague and the place was a festival! Dancing, drinking, feasting and games were all in plain view and singing, both common and ritual could be heard on the wind. Only the most antisocial of the visitors didn't have a cup, slice of beef or Mayfair ribbon in their hand within the first few minutes of arrival!

There were many Sphinxes from lands near and far invited to the celebration and we stuck out less then you may have thought... though some of the local styles were indeed curious!

One such local approached a member of your group with a welcome...

Green Sphinx: So, you're wearing green and I'm wearing green, I'd say that's a fine enough sign that we get to know each other a bit, what do ya say?

The first person to post a Sphinx they own who is or who is wearing green will win our warrior women above!

A note about the woad markings...

I've created a series of woad markings that can be put on sphinxes, sort of like a costumes. They're pre-set so Mr. Pooka can put them on easily, although there are custom woad patterns out there as well. ^_^
