Netjer costumes

So, virtually all of our female netjer costumes have been deemed inappropriate so currently cannot be posted on PI.

That's really all there is to that at the moment and we will figure out the best way to proceed on keep you informed. I'm super sorry for anyone's inconvenience on this topic.


When they were created, the costumes met the rules/guidelines but don't now.

I am working on a list right now, and will mark where all the Netjer's were posted, including Page Name and who posted, to make it easier for everyone to remove, and I am so sorry about that, that's such a bummer :0-(

Yeah I am sure it is mostly the low cut and the seeing the female's belly button. Which really is stupid on the belly button part as there are plenty of cartoons and such where a girls belly button shows. (Little mermaid) but what are ya going to do.

Thanks lostie! I'm usually good at doing that stuff myself but I am just having one of those days... again... gah.

to be honest, they changed the rules shortly after the new PI. (at least as far as I remember) but like I mentioned in my reply to the warning, the costumes were appropriate (EDITED: when created, I meant!, I wasn't arguing the current rules!) and we have been using and posting them on PI for several years after and I would have figured we'd have heard something about this sooner.

actually belly buttons are fine. Unless they are not. It also depends on if your a boy or a girl.

Quoted PI rules

female rules
- Allowing a bit of exposed stomach (belly button) is permitted provided that it is done tastefully. Exposing the stomach and allowing the pants on the anthro female to be low cut will not be permitted. If the clothing type is too provocative it will need to be changed before posting on the forums.

male rules
- When it comes to pants on a male anthro, the top of the pants should start at the belly button, or at the top of the hips to avoid falling into the category of being inappropriate.


It actually had to do with to much exposed cleavage on some of the costumes and showing to much leg on virtually every other costume. Again, its only gender specific.

Quoted PI rules

female rules
- Shorts that are halfway to the knee / Bermuda shorts

so this is PI inappropriate.



male rules
- Normal shorts, trousers, etc

so this is PI appropriate.

Yeahhhhh... It'd be nice if the mods would work with the adoptables community to come up with better guidelines and less double standards. I get that it's a "kids game" or should be child appropriate, but 10 year olds wear shorts the same length as those to school, so I mean...

Toru is not a Netjer, he is an animal balancing on his hind legs. So if Pi makes a fuss about that, I swear I am going to rage more firey then a bursting volcano. 8/

And now I'm having flashbacks to what I shall call The Great Male Bump Controversy of a few years ago. (This was back on old PI, and affected adoptables where the males had obvious sheaths. Not exposed genitalia, sheaths. I swear I am not making this up.)
