Whoot! More familiar faces! Keep spreading the word that we're here. ^_^ Here's a rough pic I drew of them back in 2010 when we started RPing with them.  I know, there's no pieces on the board, I had planned to re-do this one in digital and add the pieces in once I saw a good chess set up. *can barely play chess and needed a reference* This was before Tricity went all heavy metal. She originally was going to kill Garangador and his ship members... then steal that interesting flying ship. But he won her over through challenging new games (she loves strategy games), movies (putting up a huge screen in her courtyard for her hobgoblin soldiers to watch) and.. of course... heavy metal! This is the form she used to shapeshift into before she met Garangador (and in their earlier years)  a desert elf And now she turns into this...  Heavy metal orc! Tricity and Malixen'Mirrym (who I have sphinxified) get along rather well, except that Tricity is Lawful Evil. (barely). She's slowly turning Lawful Neutral due to the influence of both Garangador and Malixen.) |

The campaign was amazing! Mr. Pooka just wrote it all up over a few weeks since he was inspired, and what he finished could easily be a five book adventure path!
I've played a lot of adventure paths, and this one that he created was up there with some of the best published ones I've played. It was just... wow! I was starting to type up the plot, but then realized that you guys probably didn't really want to hear the whole story, so I deleted it. Heh.
Anyhow, the setting was great, a heavy metal planet... in the way that you think of Heavy Metal fiction, like the magazine, or the movie Rock and Rule, etc. Everybody was done up in leather, spikes, black jeans, concert shirts, corpse paint, etc.
The best part was half way through the adventure where they had to fight in a battle of the bands to win travel tokens to the forbidden island they needed to continue the quest. It was a LITERAL battle of the bands! Basically the two bands would fight while trying to get middle stage to perform. It has this great system of rules and was so much fun.

Sometimes when I struggle with my own characters I think of the various and numerous characters you have created! It gets me though some jumps! XD |

I just started a campaign with my friend using our OCs... I roll terribly. And level one is very bad to be rolling poorly on when the party is only 3 strong. XP
It was our first time playing and her first time DMing so we had to adjust on the fly. XD
