I was starting to type up the plot, but then realized that you guys probably didn't really want to hear the whole story, so I deleted it. Heh. Little do you know... :3 I always desire greatly to read the character development you and Pat create! Sometimes when I struggle with my own characters I think of the various and numerous characters you have created! It gets me though some jumps! XD Really? I usually love to hear about other people's characters myself, but it's frequently RPer etiquette to not talk on about your own characters. lol I used to love doing that when we owned the RP store, people would come in all day just to talk to me about their campaigns and characters. Sometimes I helped them build character concepts/backgrounds for those who were struggling with their imagination. You know, when I was really young my aunt used to try to get me to play with my cousin who had no imagination and didn't really play pretend. O.o So we had tons of play dates so I could teach her how to actually just play. (For example, she had a few MLP and I was excited saying 'let's play with the ponies!' and she just shrugged, said that they were just plastic and weren't alive... and then cut their manes. O.O I was shocked.) So, the 'play dates to teach Lisa how to play' were kinda a bust. I was typing up something about our last RP with Garangador and Tricity, but realized that it goes back to '94 and needed a lot of explanation for the background. I used to love crafting chars, but I put myself a very hard rule to not make any new ones years ago with a very few specific acceptions to the rule (Such as Sphinxes). when I feel the need to muse on a character I tend to pull up an old one and finetune that. Having created so many as a child, I have countless ones who didn't get fleshed out properly. I often toy with the idea of making a site or wiki just for myself to dump all my character details, lore and even RP backgrounds on. It sounds like you could fill one out yourself Pooka, please do share more about your chars and the RP campaigns they have had when the muse takes you!
I would also be curious to know sometime how you imagened your character before Rping them, I hear from various people who RP their chars that they rarely end up the way they imagen the character before throwing them into an RP.

We have far, far too many characters, and we're always making more. XD We can't keep up with all of the RPs we want to do and often have to narrow it down. Mr. Pooka even has a list of games he wants to run, most likely when the festival is done.
Sometimes my characters develop a personality I didn't expect. They sort of take on a life of their own. More often then that they wind up in a situation/life that I didn't expect. O.o
Like when I made Tricity for a dragon dominated, fantasy setting where you play hatchlings to Great Wyrm dragons... that she would be on a spaceship, hopping worlds, married to an orc.

I can't stop making characters... its a curse, (-8 Take Inspektrix Crowbone... She was a sort of off the cuff Police contact for the PCs and in the very first short info-net communication with her she just... grabbed onto a piece of my brain and started forcing her backstory and personality in there. She was unstoppable and irresistible! Even Pooka felt it... sometimes characters just happen and there is nothing that can be done about it, (-8

I think it’s a blast reading other people’s stories about their characters. Sometimes it gives me inspiration. All in all, I always enjoy a good story. Especially when creative care is put into the characters. I definitely like hearing others strategies for character development.
For instance, Thaddeus Zander literally came to me in a dream. I drafted him virtually out of thin air. However, Brandy Sparrow was a character that came from a series of events. It’s always neat to see how other’s characters come to be. ^^

Yes.. I have an obsession with Thaddeus. But much how he came to Cam in a dream, Korrina for me was very similar.
And I am going to go read that ALL BECAUSE STORIES OF THE CHARACTERS AND ADVENTURES! *squealing*

-Our main Festival thread will be here on the forums this year! We probably won't be posting anything on PI this year but we are planning some threads on some other sites for fun, (-8 I'll keep you updated!
-Feel free to post any of your Netjers here (even the girls!) on our forums and any other site we post on.
*watches Pooka make something beautifully awesome* Now I have to fight the urge to give any hints or spoilers other than this years theme has been a long time coming!
