I LOVE Wolverine, Gambit, and Nightcrawler as well!!!
we used to have these nice art nouveau wall scrolls with Rogue and Gambit... Our first apartment had tons of comic posters now that I think of it! I think my fav was a huge X-men three poster set... I miss that one!
We LOVED The Haunting of Hill House. That one was really good, really kept you hooked too!
yuppers this one was amazing!
TOTAL ACTUAL SHOW SPOILER BELOW, SO DON'T LOOK UNLESS YOU'VE WATCHED!
I had to spend hours checking out all the ghosts I missed and all the obvious (after the fact) clues that were dangled right in front of us! aahhh, sooo good!
I haven't seen any of the comic book based movies since they jacked up the original X-Men movie. I still haven't forgiven them for that. So no Avengers, Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, or even Guardians of the Galaxy.
I can't help but watch them all, the good and the bad! There are def a few gems hidden in there. hummm, I think we almost need a whole comic book and comic movie thread...
Oh man I got to see What We Do In The Shadows with some friends before Taika Waititi got involved with the Marvel stuff and then he was announced over there and was all surprised. He's the main reason I'm curious about looking into Thor: Ragnarok at all, his art overall seems super cool!
Ragnarok really feels like a Taika comedy movie re skinned over a Marvel movie... I think you'd enjoy it even without knowing any of the lore. (though the lore is also interesting from the other side! most of the plot comes from one of the good Hulk comic story arcs.)
I’ll have to check out those comedies, Mr. Pooka! I definitely love parks and rec. Literally my favorite recent comedy series. Norsemen also intrigues me.
Trial and Error is really funny! I loved Norsemen too, but its one of those things that you'll love or hate I think, like Monty Python.
I figured out back in Thor Ragnarok that all the marvel movies are connected and since that enlightened discovery when I’ve caught other marvel moves on they’ve made a bit more sense.
...yes. I was much confuzzled when watching some of the marvel movies in march when I realized that they were sort of out of order. You kind of put the pieces together with every one you watch.

I super love the whole cinematic universe concept and even if all the movies aren't perfect I love how they are all connected like a comic book! All of the netflix shows (daredevil, iron fist, etc) and agents of shield are also cannon in the same universe too, though not connected enough that you'll miss something if you are trying to keep up... just littered with connecting easter eggs. (agents of shield was the closest to canon having some of the movie characters in it, but it isn't really... er... good? the ill conceived and quickly vanished into history Inhumans was also canon I think.)
I still need to see Captain Marvel. I really loved the Ms Marvel comics and was way into them for a most of their run (and her friendship with Spider Woman) but I never quite got into the newer stuff where she was 'rebooted' into Captain Marvel. I still think I'll like this one though, (-8
EXiles is really good and has a great concept.
Blink really came into her own on the Gifted (tries to avoid spoilers) and its way to bad this got cancelled. I was mentioning to Pooka when we were watching the Gifted that EXiles would be a great test of concept TV show, bouncing around to different universes and versions of characters to see what tested well, or became popular. (sort of like a constant Spiderman into the Spiderverse).
