Hummm….
I like spreading joy to others and tend to look out for those I care about over myself.
Over the summer I sent a certain 'care' package to a certain set of friends a few hours up north---I was filled with joy when I was informed that they were enjoying what I sent (BTW--do you still have some goodies from that box?)
I gained a new brother over the summer. I totally accept and welcome that but its going to probably take me years for the hubby/wife' thing to sink in with regards to my sister. I just see it as..I have a new brother. Im proud of him--and her. He just graduated from med school...in Italy. And she is working happily a few hours north in her specialized field she graduated from last year.
I made a few wreathes a few weeks back. It was on a whim but I loved how they turned out and love how happy they've made the people they are for.
hum..yeah. ^^

That sounds awesome Cameron, (-8 It reminded me of another drink I got addicted to on our first cross Canada Road Trip... its perhaps a bit more gourmand, lol, but as soon as we got out of Ontario for the first time I got this Chai Latte at 7/11. and it was PURE HEAVEN! I honestly turned 7/11s into absolute must stops as we toured across Canada and I probably stopped at dozens of different ones just for my Chai Lattes, (-8 Unfortunatly on our way back I stopped to get one just inside of Ontario (Lake of the Woods maybe? I don't remember now...) but they didn't have them... )-8 and then I never found them again. I've drank a few different Chai lattes from a few different places, bought different mixes... and nothing every comes close to the sugar syrupy awesomeness!
super sweet!

nope, all gone, (-8 Cookies are way more powerful than willpower in this house, lol, (-8 I'd never had cardamom cookies before either and they were extra unique! For all my cooking and experimenting and love of trying different cultural foods I was totally surprised by something so new and different like that, (-8 I'm on a bit of an extra spice kick at the moment as well... (yes of course because of roleplaying!) I was playing a pirate character Captain Just from the Birthright setting... he's been in the background for a loooooot of years but got drawn into the endgame of the Yamasugi Outlaw game (fun and romantical, (-8 I'm sure you'll see a Just Sphinx around these parts... without getting into 12 chapters just now) ... either way he is from a classical fantasy world which is really a bit small on culture and world trade so when he was taken via magic to a modern Tokyo, obviously, well mind blown right? One of the things be was obsessed with was the food, especially spices... and being the practical person that he was, he borrowed some magical storage items (a portable hole to be specific) and began to ransack... er buy... tons and tons of what we would consider simple and fairly cheap spices, like pepper, cinnamon and the like just to store back on his home island and make himself extraordinarily wealthy, (-8 He'd always like the finer things and knew his way around a spice rack! for a totally off topic bit of fun, just picture a handful of classical pirates all taken to Tokyo Disney Sea to watch this show... ah, some of the Outlaws have a great sense of humor, (-8 good times! [\spoiler]

I do suppose that is correct Sweetintoxikation! That one is in my brainfiles as a crown, but now thinking of it does seem to fit the whole wreath idea as well. ^^ It’s a camper that basically folds out and when your done folds down on itself for storage. It’s small enough to tow with our outback. I was gifted an instant pot as a wedding gift! It is such a wonderful invention. I think I’ve used it just about every night this week. Expedites the cooking of things like rice, squash, potatoes! It’s nice to have when you don’t want to spend time waiting on your meal to be finished. My heart sank when I found out the red symphony was no longer available. It was so sad. That’s a true bummer too! It’s never a good moment to be informed or realize something that you truly enjoyed is no longer available. Makes me think of some of those candy products that are no longer produced and such. Finding replacements is a challenge and they rarely are the same or better.

(unless you check later and don't see it, like I missed you somehow!)

Interesting. Cam, have you looked at uhm.. Adiago Teas before? Years back my mom used to bring home this black tea with dried coconut in it. All the way from Penang, Malaysia. And I LOVED IT. So, after being spoiled for a couple years of getting some via her work contacts we found out the company who made it closed down. SO I wasn't able to get it anymore.
LUCKILY, I kept a tin (because it was CUTE.. I have a problem. >.>) and when I heard about Adagio Tea, I was able to re-create the tea with their customization. I ask, because maybe you could recreate your tea and have it again. Or.. make your own! its fun. A bit pricey over all, but I like to splurge like once a year and get some looseleaf mixes. Helps me use what I have before going for the stuff at the grocery store.
Also, Congratulations to the Holly and other Ivy winners! <3 Thank you Mr. Pooka! <3 <3

XD Ha, I think already established that I could never say no to a cookie, (-8 I don't think I've ever had a pumpkin cookie now that I think about it? ...and I love pumpkin! Oooo, I have the same problem when I make banana bread, we both love it but you can only eat so much and there is just the two of us... what I do nowadays when I make some is put some in the freezer in individual slice/serving sizes for those future days when one pieces is just what I need, (-8 (Wrapping them good seems to be the key to keeping them fresh, I use plastic wrap and then foil... Pooka's mom makes us lovely fruitcakes and wraps them like that and then I chop them into serving sizes and freeze a bunch of pieces like this too, (-8) ...and I've always wanted to make pumpkin butter, but never had so I can't honestly recommend the idea yet, (-8

Congrats you six! Sweetintoxikation, really I’m not a tea connoisseur. I’ve never heard of that company before. I will have to take a gander when the slow months are no longer draining my precious resources. I do love my herbal teas. Have a really nice blend specific to breathing difficulties that I love. Easily purchased at the local grocery store.
