Soo happy with my recent refashionings! Thank you Mr. Pooka! 💕 —————————————  Ri sat at a table nestled in a dark corner at the back of the Crook and Flail tavern. A pensive expression perched upon her face as her eyes scanned over a few pages in her little black book. A few scrolls could be seen on the table to her left, but not far out of reach. A drink, motionless was positioned towards the middle of the table in front of her. This particular table she had dubbed her primary place of business. What business exactly? Most who entered the tavern did not fully knew, and none who questioned were brave enough to approach and ask.  A long day of grease and gears at his back he entered the tavern and approached the keep to order a drink. With the hairs on the back of his neck suddenly standing his eyes glanced towards the menacing corner where they were met by the glower of a white haired female. Ri closed her reading material as her gaze met and fixed on the onlooker not far out of earshot. Her tail swished and her ears pricked slightly forward. Picking up her drink she took a sip, and rolled the glass in her paw. As she did so her voice calmly uttered, “If you are not seeking contract matters I would suggest attention be laid elsewhere.” With that Nathan’s attention reverted to his previous task. At this point in his life he did not need a force of this nature or what she termed as ‘contract work’ to solve any of his issues. A cold, inhibition dampening beverage would be sufficient in satiating his concerns. |

I haven't been this far ahead in a while, (-8 So, I'm finishing up a couple inbox things, and baking/cooking a ton in preparation for the next few days which are supposed to be hot, and I won't want to cook... Bread, Cinnamon buns, Granola, macaroni and cheese salad (I've never made a cheesy mac and cheese salad... we'll see!), buns and bread wrapped sausages. I think that's all I've got on the go, (-8
then I'll prob get to some semicustom slots today!
and on a totally dif topic, we watched Artemis Fowl the other night and it kind of made me sad... I was so hoping the reviews were off but it was kind of a mess... I was super looking forward to this one, how can a movie with so many fairies and great source material become this? ....ah well... at least we've got good Anime to fall back on, (-8

I'm not sure, but I'd totally check it out, (-8 I did like the books! It's pretty bad when your half way through a movie and your already looking forward to some sort of reboot! ... I think it could be a pretty solid tv series, especially if they stick with more of the source material.
(I even have some prototype Sphinxes based on LEAPrecon costumes, (-8)

The Artemis Fowl movie (not a tv show, though maybe they had plans for more?) is already up on Disney+. I've seen reviews and most are not positive. I haven't heard about a tv show, but I'd still check it out because I liked the books, (-8 ...they have been trying to make a movie out of this one for 20 years so there might have been lots of started and stopped projects along the way...
I think the movie suffers from skipping the source material which doesn't make fans of the book happy, and replacing it with a standard chase for a macguffin plot that everyone has seen a million times with nothing new... which doesn't really make newcomers to the story any more excited about it.
I remember reading the first book and the non-traditional characters, exciting story and neat setting are why I still remember it 15 odd years on!
