It's really good to see everyone! Mayolin and Hiro look awesome, Pooka! I really love the portal, that's a super neat detail! And the Kezzer tail!! Looks amazing!! <3 It's been uh, a real rough tail-end of 2020 ever since August, to be honest. Whew. Some good things, though... -in spite of everyone saying we'd be denied raises this year because of COVID, I did get my raise at work, and a bigger one than our "usual" raises. Still not big enough for working an entire pandemic, but I'll take it over nothing. -I got a new car! Why I needed it isn't too pleasant, but I love her, she's the newest car I've ever had being a 2017. -Me and Cryptic beat NaNoWriMo recently while chipping away at roleplaying the story (just written RP for us) for our characters Marchosias and Tabbris. -And I've gotten a slight obsession with keeping house-plants lately. Slowly but surely turning one of my cat-free bedrooms (since so many houseplants are toxic to cats) into a downright jungle. It's been a fun and wholesome distraction from the mess that is 2020. In the end, me and Cryptic are still kicking and all of our critters are alive and well, so that's a blessing in and of itself for sure.

Mmmm... snickerdoodles... I've already got my gingersnaps. Oooh, which Fire Emblem, Mr. Pooka? I'm not sure if I can settle on a fav cookie but I am looking forward to a nice assorted plate along with a cup of tea, (-8 ...I got Fire Emblem Three Houses! I'm excited to start, but I've got a few more Pokemon Sword things I want to accomplish first, (-8 somehow I'd never made these before this fall, but have fallen for them as well... I've been experimenting with the add-ons (fill ins?) Rasberry jam, and lime marmalade are my current favs, and when I make our next bunch I'm got to try my home made apple butter, (-8 Sure thing, can do! or, now wait, what's the opposite of sure thing... I have hobbit like cravings that nearly demand that there be a 7th meal of the day that involves some sort of cheese plate! I love cheese and we were really happy with how our cheeseballs came out, (-8 (we're gonna be making the next week as well, kicking off our holiday treats with cookies and cheese) I've never had a sweet one before... but goat cheese with cranberry sauce, cream cheese with pepper jelly and even the pineapple in Pooka's bacon-pineapple one are all nice but the one Pooka's got planned feels like its inching closer to the side of cheesecake (and I even picked up graham crackers for serving!), and I'm excited to try it! here's the basic recipe. also I'm right along with your hubbies cherry and coconut flavour choices, (-8 I love cherry anything (maraschino or otherwise!) and this spring I made the yummiest coconut sticky pudding... mmmmm... I wonder if he's ever seen these? www.candydistrict.com/products/cherry-blossom-candy(I'd find a better link but we're having some internet issues today...) These have been my fav thing since I was a little kid, they've been around forever... though googling them I noticed that they are specifically Canadian so I'm not sure they are available in the states. It doesn't seem to be listed in the flavour profile but there is also a ton of coconut mixed into the chocolate, (-8 Me too! ...we're not heading to Katterheim this Yule, for ... reasons... eyes Selene IV and shakes head... There will be a few small ties to the setting for this years Heb though... My Katterheim folder has really grown though and there will be some bigger event eventually for sure! whoa, awesome! I've never seen anything like that before ... *googles* 2020 can't be over fast enough! I did just see this add for a dating site this morning that sums things up pretty well... and yay for raises, new cars, completed writing challenges and jungle bedrooms, (-8 I used to raise a ton of houseplants myself when I was younger but a series of small windowless apartments evaporated the hobby... Nowadays I'm more accustomed to the wild plants of the northern Canadian woods! (I even found a little bit of Chaga this year which made me super happy, (-8) Now to get my cottage roll ready for dinner, (-8 (which is also apparently a Canadian thing?)

Three Houses is an awesome game, especially story wise. I hope you enjoy it! I'm in the middle of my fifth playthrough at the moment. Awakening was my favorite in the series, but Three Houses has snuck past it I think to the top spot.

I keep a few houseplants. Kinda weird combo tbh but I have 4 orchids and a Nepenthes pitcher plant. Two of the orchids are phaelenopsis purple and whites. One I... don't actually know the color but its FINALLY putting out a flower stalk so hopefully I will know soon. The orchids are all 'rescues' that were on clearance because they were dying. The one I still have no info on is a giant one that has put out some new leaves but no flowers yet, so I still have no idea what color it is lol.

You will have to share where you found this! Totally sounds up my alley, though I do agree some cheeses can be... uhm, not great. đ We didnât quite make a cheese ball, but paired cream cheese with homemade choke-cherry jam and left over thanksgiving turkey on crackers for a leftover-inspired charcuterie board. Been really into charcuterie especially when I donât feel much like cooking. Great snacking and so many options and different pairings to explore depending on the spread! đ I doubt that he has seen those specifically, but I will sure show him! He does really enjoy the normal chocolate covered cherries. The added coconut will be his cherry on top! No pun intended. đ Heâs got a strong hankering for anything sweet. Iâve always said heâs got a row of sugar teeth as opposed to a single sweet tooth. He always gets sideeyed when he says his favorite flavor is coconut đ„„, but sure as heck you get him anything that flavor and he will gobble it right up. He always grew up with a bing-cherry tree and is quite pick about fresh cherries, but will straight up drink the maraschino cherry juice... Again, sugar teeth! pesky Selene IV!! Hereâs to the potential hints for the upcoming Heb theme :3 Have you gotten any new ones?? I too have a slight obsession and have been debating setting up some sort of cuttings-exchange so the obsession can grow. I too have a rescued orchid!! I have no idea what it will bloom to be, and really donât have a lot of knowledge on orchids in general. I understand they can be temperamental... BUT it honestly looks 100% better now than when I took its care on so I must be doing something right! The pitcher plant sounds really cool too!

Awakening was my favorite in the series, but Three Houses has snuck past it I think to the top spot. I'm really looking forward to it, (-8 I've never played a Fire Emblem game and I was a bit unsure jumping into a franchise but it seems like a fine starting point... The first game (Shadow Dragon & the Blade of Light) is also currently on sale and I might pick that one up to, the price is right anyways, (-8. I was also looking at the slightly related Tokyo Mirage Sessions. ...I still have a few more Pokemon to catch first though, and maybe make my full Obstagoon team! (I owe it to my team of zigzagoons that one me game after game in the CCG) Yum! I've only found one choke-cherry tree up here, but we do have a ton of pin cherries which make awesome jelly (but it's a ton of work to get just a bit of it... there is almost nothing to a pin cherry). I could also live on mixed charcuterie, (-8 (throw in some pickles, nuts, dried fruit, maybe a pickled egg or piece of some kind of fruit cake or... ah! so snackish!) I know right! Let me just add...

Have you gotten any new ones?? I too have a slight obsession and have been debating setting up some sort of cuttings-exchange so the obsession can grow. That's such a cute idea! ;o; Most of mine are still fairly new, I'm also still learning what works for our house and what doesn't, and trying *not* to overwater everyone. x'D I really only started keeping plants indoors this year, before we had a foster kitten pretty consistently and that was our "kitten room" so they could have a private space away from my old and grumpy adult cats, haha. Now it's just a room for my pet mice and my plants! I guess with everything pandemic-y happening this year, I just needed a little happy place sanctuary in my house. <3 But I'm still troubleshooting. My thumb is greener than Cryptic's at the least. XD

(I owe it to my team of zigzagoons that one me game after game in the CCG) Fire Emblem is kind of nice in the fact that you can start at any point in the series. Some of the games are related, but it doesn't really matter much. Three Houses is not connected to any of the others as far as storylines go. I got the first game and started it the other night. Oh those 8-bit graphics! I've also played Tokyo Mirage Sessions, the #FE Encore version. It was super fun even though I wasn't familiar with the other game it was based on, very puzzling dungeons in 3D if you like that kind of thing. The story was fun as well, lots of side quests to get to know each of the characters. I love Galarian Obstagoon!

Wolfyyyyy! I still desperately want my character Marchosias as a Sphinx, especially after all the writing I've done for him this year. ;_; And Cryptic has his mate Tabbris already, so I need him to exist! ;n;
