mmmm, watching all the posts in the contest thread makes me happy I've got most of my holiday snacks made, (-8 *nibbles shortbread* ...we've got two cheeseballs (one sweet and one jalapeno) all made and ready for tomorrow along with my traditional pate... I've kind of always wanted to make a stollen... but I've just been cheating this year and making sweet biscuit/scones with candied fruit which have been delightful!

now to watch another holiday movie or a decidedly not festive show... Oh, did anyone watch the new Grinch musical a few days ago? I do love grinchy things but nothing ever compares to the classic for me but I was wondering if anyone liked it or if it was worth checking out?

The flower stalk was a lie. XD Turned out to be a leaf stalk. This type grows differently than my other orchids. So I still have no idea what color it is. Also my pitcher plant apparently has decided it does not like the new house, so I will have to replace it eventually. ;_; Sadly I think I missed the holiday stuff. I've been busy and forgot to check back. But congrats everyone! I just saw the spirit guide in the pickups thread. Super jealous. X)
