Being around my family and celebrating the holiday is my favorite Christmas tradition. We have always been the “host” house ever since I can remember, and it always makes me happy to see everyone enjoying themselves after the work that has been put in to make it that way. It’s always a time filled with laughter and fun (and great food!) and this year those memories will carry us through this time.

This is a newer tradition, but it's absolutely one of my favorites. The first year I took my pup Evie to the family Christmas gathering, unprompted she started helping me open my presents once we were all gathered around the tree. She helps rip off the paper and even will dig into cardboard boxes with all her might, and this is not something we ever taught her how to do. It tickled my mom to absolute bits, so much that she started getting Evie her own presents to open and she videos her unwrapping them. We didn't expect this at all but now it's certified tradition for Evie to help me open all my gifts.

And I do have some photos!

OH right, and I'd be interested in the Yule Bells!
