Oh ya, two more shows of last year to go on the list!
The Muppets Mayhem was a delight and I loved every single second of it, (-8 I hope they make a 1000 more seasons and it's what inspired my Yule Shirt this year, (-8
and
Cunk on Earth. Every single Cunk documentary is pure gold but this was the latest one and it is a pleasure to watch Diane Morgan brutally take on all of the world's history this time! Poignant, timely and hilarious all in one go, she deserves a Knighthood!

It's a Scarlet Ibis! That one was photographed at the Cincinnati Zoo. Well, that would explain why I haven't seen one around here... XD

Ooh, we started Delicious in Dungeon a few nights ago and so far it's really fun. I'm curious how some of the youtube channels will start recreating anime dishes... so I'm staying tuned for that xD Scarlet Ibis! So pretty I love your photography Arcane, and it always blows me away that you're not on a wildlife expedition somewhere lol. We don't have many plans this year, but mostly just trying to get through work and survive another year without injury, hah. Back in July I had a riding accident and severe ankle sprain/roll, so it's been a path PT and healing. ^^; We do however, have a trip planned next week to visit New Zealand. I've been saving up for that for the last year and very much looking forward to see the same vistas that the Elves, Hobbits, and shadowy vampires get to see! I also purchased my first little 35mm film camera to take on this trip, so we'll see if I can take any cool looking photos New Zealand is on my bucket list. I want to go the farm where the remainders of the set are for Lord of the Rings so much! Have fun taking lots of pictures!

*pops head in*
OK!
I need to get this out. Its not bad or anything. Im just a touch overwhelmed xD
Guys, im trying to get a website for the business up and running. ohmygosh, what happened to good ol' notepad and simple coding? I swear this new stuff is soo much more o.@, but I must be showing my age.
Anyone else try to set one up on square? Im currently trying to figure out why things are overlapping on the instagram section, and the items page.
....im also trying to get it live before the 20th-ish....theres a spring show that a major organizer is doing and its juried and I think the website will help with selection. Ive tried applying twice last year and didnt get in. They get over 400 applications in a space that can house 90 vendors, and if you get in, you are guarenteed a constant flow of people...like, big time.
I also want to try to get the site up and try to focus on holiday markets this year. Hubby thinks ill do better online (you know, if I can get the SEO stuff right...iesh!)
In other news I have a bunch of alphabet letter sequins im trying to organize into 26 containers for storage. I bet im not going to finish well before march! xD
Also also, im starting to winter sew some of my seeds, get in the process of, and organizing what I want to grow this year. Our local seedy saturday is on feb 3 so im itching to seed swap! My seed starting trays for indoors need to be sanitized still but the set up is up and im rearing to get started (Down girl! Start in march!)
I was hoping this year I could get some different coloured marigolds and narcissisms. The typical reds/oranges/golds/yellows are nice but I want cooler colours. I know marigolds come in white. I WILL find them D:< The later I think can come in purples/pinks/whites. Ill have my sweet alyssum too.
Anyone know of any other good companion flowers for the veggies?

I also loved blue eyed samurai. I have watched it 3 times now, just with different friends. They all loved it too. Ive watched Good Omens seasons one and two and am anxiously awaiting 3. Also our flag means death which they canceled season 3 of but the ending of season 2 wrapped things up in a way that i am satisfied with and felt finished.

Got my little buddy set up in his permanent home finally! Name is still pending, but I really do want to find something gargoyle related, haha. I'm excited about it, though! ALSO if anyone is curious, the new zoom lens arrived and it's a big boy! XD But the weather has been just atrocious this week and it's supposed to get quite cold next week, so... I'll be twiddling my thumbs for a while before I can actually play with it. ;____; So tonight I'm probably gonna be finishing up the Pokemon Scarlet Epilogue that just dropped!

well, I've done enough to be worth posting XD Also i didn't give up. I've been wanting to make a temperature blanket for a while but i always remember to late. Well this year i managed to have not only the supplies but also a plan XD It's going to have a rainbow border when i finish. Day 1 and 2 looked good. Day 3 ok day 4, I realised a problem If i kept it this size it would be bigger than my bedroom by mid-year XD So i made the hard decision that i would have to unwind it all and start again. So back to Rainbow Layer i go and start again. Day 1 looked better And it looked a lot better now we're on day 13. Lots of dark green as it's been 1-2°C though we did go back up to 4°C average today so the colour shift is nice^^

*rolls around in thread* Seeing the soup pictures and they all look good. I just finished some chicken corn chowder myself. Canned stuff, but it's Campbell's and I like that brand. There was a really good corn chowder that Dad and I would get from this one guy at the gun shows, but he hasn't been around for years now sadly.
I've been doing okay. Been patiently waiting for my boyfriend to come up. He actually put in an application for a new place because where he had been working...he'd had enough and put in his two weeks. His two weeks ended on the 9th, he's been happy with that and now he's just waiting for his background check to clear for the new place. That's said to take two weeks, so he has time to come up and see me. He was going to leave on the 12th, but due to the weather, he held off travel. Very understandable. Right now he's waiting to deal with the cable company because their cable and internet went out during the weather. Internet came back earlier today, but cable is a separate company. So hopefully after he deals with them and they have cable back, he'll come up.
I myself hit a bit of a milestone back in December that I forgot to mention. As of December 2023, I hit my 10 year mark of not biting my fingernails. I used to be a really bad biter of my nails. Way back in the early 90's my Mom-mom Lillian, my Dad and Aunt's mom, made the promise to take me to the Camden aquarium if I stopped biting my nails. I tried so hard, but I never was able to do it. Then in 2004, I managed to stop, but wasn't able to find a day when I could go with her because Mom pretty much had it booked of dog shows. Then I lost myself and started biting again. I tried again in 2007, had them for a few months, then after a rotten streak of breaks, I just gave in and started biting again. Come 2013, the one day I noticed they were growing, so I tried again. Once they got to a nice length...like the tips were even with the flesh tip of my fingers, I put nail polish on them. Whenever I had the urge to bite, I'd see how pretty they looked and I couldn't bring myself to bite them. December of 2013 when Dad and I went to see his mom, I had my fingernails painted and when she saw them, she pointed to them and gave this look of 'what's thaaaat?'. So I went over with this grin and I gently scritched my fingernails over the top of her hand and she got the biggest grin on her face. It was the best gift I could have given her. Sadly at this point it was too late to take her to the aquarium. The day that Dad called me February of 2014 to give me the news that she had passed, I made the vow to never bite my nails again. I've had them break and I've gotten frustrated, but if I was able to quickly file the nail, I'd be okay. September 7th, 2019 would have been her 100th birthday if she was still alive. There was a Zac Brown Band concert in Camden that night and since the venue was down the way from the aquarium, I asked Dad if we could make a day out of it. Go to the aquarium as a way to honor her and then go to the concert. He loved the idea. So I wore a necklace that belonged to her, so while we were at the aquarium, she was there with us. When it came time for the concert, we went to the venue. I did take the necklace off though so I didn't lose it at the concert. So...yea...I've been bite free with my fingernails for 10 years now. I'm proud of this accomplishment. Mom was also proud that I finally kicked the habit as well. 2004 was when I realized why it was that I bit them. I bit them when I got stressed and/or mad. I was with my Dad when I told him that I realized this and he said 'About time you figured it out' and I looked at him. He then said that he had known for a while as to why I bit them, but he wanted me to figure it out on my own. Even when I did start to let them grow again in 2013/2014, I'd still get stressed and mad, but I didn't take it out on my nails, I just took a breath and relaxed.

I've been trying to learn how to knit for over a year, and I just don't seem to be able to figure out the coordination. I can cast on and that's about it. I can get through maybe a row, but when I try to start a second... dun dun dunnnn. It always goes wrong. I think I need someone to show me in person as opposed to my book or videos. :/

I would offer, but we are a little far away >.>
Learning to knit after mostly crocheting is definitely tricky; I know there are things ha I do when knitting that aren’t quite ‘how it should be done’, but they work for me XD

I'm a bit behind, our internet has been frustratingly spotty the last couple of days. Most likely due to our blizzards and wacky -30 cold snaps...
I had to look up a Temperature Blanket Minkey, I've never heard of them and they were not what I would have guessed! That's a very cool project, I want to try something like that!
I Loved the first seasons of Good Omens and Our Flag Means Death and will always highly recommend them, but I can't say I really liked either's second season... I can't wait for a second season of Blue Eyed Samurai though!
...and Still Pending's cute little eyelashes get me every time, soooo cute! (and also such a cool looking tropical home Arcane!) ...also that new lens looks crazy fun! Looks like you might go right past insects and start photographing tardigrades, (-8
I've got a tote full of knitting tools I need to learn how to use... but Macramé is my next project!

I love the thought of a temperature blanket!
I could not do one here... it would be possibly the most boring temperature blanket to exist... but I love the thought of them!
