I had a sleep study a couple years ago. I was able to sleep with all the sensors hooked to me, but I felt bad because at the time i woke up a lot to go to the bathroom and each time the technician would have to come in to help me. I didnt get though the whole night before he was like, yeah you have sleep apnea lets put you on a cpap that night. Ive had one ever since and honestly im so much better off with it I cant imagine not having it now.

...so I failed my test... I've got to go again next month sometime and do it again. Between the wires and the super stressful drive I just plain couldn't go to sleep for some reason... my brain was totally my enemy last night. ...it was supposed to be clear with a sprinkle of snow but it turned into a full on blizzard that totally whited out everything part way through my trip there which is super scary to drive in. It took me over two hours for a one hour drive and for much of the way I couldn't even see where the road was! I was driving by 'feel' a lot, like you can feel when you start to drift onto the shoulder and it was the only way to navigate. Eventually I got behind a big trunk moving real slow and just followed that, but I was a bit stressed out by the time I got to the hospital, plus worrying what it was gonna be like the next day! People watching me sleep ended up only being third on the list of weirds that kept me up, lol. Oh, well, just a bit of Northern Living, (-8 I had a sleep study a couple years ago. I've never quite been hooked up like that before... weirdly I found it a bit fun, lol, more like a good roleplaying experience! ...like being hooked up to some cool cyberpunk hacking rig or something fun, (-8 I'm happy it worked out for you though, that must be a super relief to find something that works (and keeps you alive!)

Being in a car when there's hardly any visibility is possibly one of the most stressful things ever for me, so you have my full sympathy there D: With all of that going on it's no wonder you couldn't complete the test.

Yeah... that sounds horrifying. I've only been a passenger when Rasa was driving in that kind of weather once. I was terrified we were going to take someone's mailbox out or wind up in the ditch, and she was nonchalant about the whole thing, just went slowly.
Also, it's -1F outside, and my mind just can't wrap around that. I don't think I've ever seen negative numbers as the actual temperature. I think 4F was the lowest I'd seen before today, and that was more than 20 years ago.

Oh goodness, Mr. Pooka, that would make me so nervous. ;w;
I drove to work just in light snow Sunday night? And I didn't go over 35mph the whole time. I'm a baby about bad weather, though, and of course Kentucky acts like it never knows how to handle winter weather, every single year.
We're also icicles here! Yesterday was a snow day but I'm back at work tonight. And it is definitely cold!

I hope everyone is having a good day. If you're getting snow, stay warm and stay safe We're getting some more snow. We're in the 2-4 inch range where I am. I was going to go out an shovel this morning, but my stomach was filling a little loopy. I heard my downstairs neighbor out shoveling and I wanted to go help, but not with my stomach as it was. I don't have any other symptoms that would indicate a cold or flu. After I ate some applesauce, my stomach settled and I'm feeling better. I think it was just one of those mornings of my stomach wanting to feel sour for a little bit. Glad I had the applesauce. Right now the snow is pretty and falling lightly, the pine tree across the street is looking pretty again. I went out for a quick grocery run, I wanted to get some things for chili...mainly the beans, tomato paste and onion, but I also picked up a couple other things. It was pretty out with all the snow. With the way I went, I have to cross over a bridge and with the snow and such, the creek looked really pretty. I stopped at the one point and snapped this picture. Then as I got to the house beside the apartment, I noticed the holly bush. I've seen it before, so I knew it was there, but it just looked super pretty yesterday, so I quick got this picture of it. It's really nice and big. I'd love to have a holly bush one day, but I'd have it in the yard somewhere where it wouldn't be a hinderance to house or pipes. Back yard is probably where I'd put it. Back at the house in Pottstown, Mom had noticed that we had the start of one out back at the one back edge of the patio. I noticed it and she kept saying she wanted to dig it up and transplant it away from the house because it would have made the back patio slab crack. She never did move it. I wish I would have thought about grabbing it before I moved. There were actually three holly bushes starting. Two out back near the patio and one out front among the azalea. I know that when whoever gets the house and it gets remodeled to be resold...those holly bushes aren't going to last. I dunno...maybe one of these days I'll see if I can get Dad to take me back down and see if I can get the little holly sprouts and bring them back to the apartment.
