I kind of thought the same thing wolfrysk, but with the opposite temperature, like I could easily work ahead and get the next few months all done in violet or eggplant... though we do at least get some varied seasons, so it would work out eventually (-8

*snuggles in with some apple cinnamon tea* We're expecting seven inches of snow tonight and tomorrow. That's probably not a lot for out northern neighbors, but for us, it might as well be seven feet. LOL A temperature blanket here would be all over the place, especially in fall. We have 30 degree temperature differences quite regularly.

I think if I did it in like…. 5 degree differences I might have more variety but there would still be very large sections of the same color even with that >.>;
Right now though I’d have a weird amount of variety, the weather has been rubberbanding every couple days here between 70F and 85F every couple of days. I hate it

I'm steeping my own tea atm, (-8 I had an out of town/overnight appointment on Friday but had to cancel because we got a wild blizzard that lasted about a day and we got around a foot of snow... but there was also very very wicked winds so a lot of it didn't' come strait down but rather came sideways and made use drifts all over. We had all kinds of weather alerts and a few road closures when I was supposed to be driving... that's the scary weather! Just some nice pretty snow fall now though, kind of like a holiday card, (-8 ..but it's still cold! (not the west coast cold though, their setting records out there, yikes! we're doing -20 - -30s here but a few places out west were getting -60s! that's crazy!)
You know, if I made a temperature blanket I think it would be more colourful if they added some extra scale to the bottom of the chart, lol! Like we need a few extra degrees of cold, as if -15 is a cut-off point, ha!

Just skim off a couple of the top levels and paste them at the bottom. It would be quite amusing to see shocking red in the midst of the purple and blue and be like... "No... that's for temperatures below the others..." XD

It's still snowing, and we've already gotten five inches and are expecting another three. Rasa is practically snowed in at my parents' house though. They have already gotten a foot of snow and are expecting another six inches. 0_0 The low tomorrow is -4F (-20C). Who moved my house to Canada? XD

We're getting a light dusting of snow atm (and all day so far)... Nothing to bad, just pretty, (-8 I've been keeping my eye on it because I have to drive to the next city over for a Sleep Clinic thing, which I'm so not looking forward to, bleh... I can't think of anything weirder then trying to sleep while people are observing me, lol. I had to cancel it last week due to the whiteout conditions but I don't have any more good excuses. ...and I'm off to drive an hour in the dark and snow to let someone watch me sleep while trying not to think of this... (honestly I shouldn't be complaining, I kind need this test done, but I just don't know how I'll sleep while being watched and studied, gah!)

I would offer, but we are a little far away >.> Learning to knit after mostly crocheting is definitely tricky; I know there are things ha I do when knitting that aren’t quite ‘how it should be done’, but they work for me XD The niece knows how to knit and sent me a starter kit, but I think I need someone to show me in person. None of my local craft stores are offering classes either. :/ The niece may just have to show me if she ever gets back up this way again.

We got about 3 inches here, maybe 4. Really pretty. I went out and helped the downstairs neighbor with shoveling. I heard him shoveling the driveway, so I donned my L.L.Bean snow sneakers, sherpa lined Gryffindor jacket(gods I love that jacket), Malamute hat I've had for at least 25+ years, and my gloves and went outside to get the sidewalk, steps and walkway.
I also got to see my downstairs neighbor's new baby boy!!! I was talking with the one neighbor and they came out the side door to head for a doctor's appointment and got to see their baby. He's sooooo cuuuuute!!! He's a week old today and named Judah. Alicia, the mom, made the mention of she hopes I have a good sound machine at night and I went 'pfft...I barely hear him, so don't worry' and she was relieved and she said he's a happy boy, but when he gets going and I laughed and said 'it's fine, like I said, I barely hear him. I hear him a little bit, but it's not bad'. Which is true, I barely hear him and when I get in bed, I'm out til my alarm goes off. While they were out, I also salted the sidewalk, walkways, steps and driveway, but also got the steps and little deck for my downstairs neighbors. I was on my way out to get another bag of salt to refill the bucket and Nate and Alicia were just getting back with little Judah and they both thanked me for salting their side steps. I said 'no problem' and continued to where the landlord had dropped off more bags of salt in the garage. Neighbors also found out I'm part polar bear because I was just in my t-shirt XD I had a card and cute pair of baby socks for them too, so when I refilled the salt bucket, I grabbed the card and socks and made the delivery. Alicia made the comment of the cold and I said 'i'm like my Mom, I'm part polar bear' and she laughed and said 'yea, we noticed you in just the t-shirt and for a moment thought you were nuts' and I laughed and went 'nope, that's just me showing the polar bear side. I don't do that often, but yea, part polar bear' and she got a kick out of it.
