*works way up through inbox while resisting Dad Joke urge... fails.*
I was at a job interview yesterday and the interviewer asked "can you perform under pressure"?
I said no, but I can do a pretty good bohemian rhapsody.

I'm not sure if this belongs in the Pillow Fort since it's bad news turned into good news. ^_^ So I think good news could go here. Two big things lately. One, my mother had to have a bone marrow biopsy since it was thought she had cancer. And she does. It's rare myelofibrosis. BUT the good news is that it's caught very, very early and all she has to take are these pills for chemotherapy. She won't lose her hair, or get really sick. The doctor said that it's so minor and going to be so easily treated that she shouldn't worry or fret at all. So, good news. ^_^ Two, our cat has been really sick for over a week and things were starting to look dark. BUT, the good news is that he passed what we think was a kidney stone and he's all good and back to his usual self again. ^_^ So, things are currently looking up. Now I can put my mind at ease and hubby and I can finally get some sleep.

That's amazing news, Pookas! And happy that kitkat is back to feeling normal. <3
My buns, particularly the female, tends to get digestive issues from environmental stress. It can go on for hours and hours, and we have to administer gas drops every hour until resolved. The longest has been like... 26 hours? ^^; So yeah I def empathize on the sleep debt part, heh.

The last couple of days have been a bit of an adventure... but we're just catching up now! (just in case anyone was worried we were quiet and I've been pretty slow getting back to my PMs!)
...we were like that with the poor kitty... just had to keep giving him his medicine and taking care of him as best we could with a lot of hope, and snuggles. He also needed one bath in there which was... well, lets say I survived but still carry the battle scars! (He's a sweety in general, but, as a stray, he might be 50% Tasmanian devil when it comes to water...)

*sips hot tea... Tetley Bold atm... and excitedly works way up through inbox of fun ideas!*
and two extra randoms!
Random Media recommendation - Bad Monkey, a self contained short story crime/comedy show about a suspended Detective... can't give to much info without spoilers but this was super good with very fun characters! 9 out of 10, (-8
Random Snack recommendation - my current favorite movie snack is a dip I concocted. Mix Sour Cream with some Antipasto or any chopped veggie in oil, like Muffuletta mix or maybe a tapenade and add a touch of 'spice of choice'. I've been using lemon pepper, though simple salt and pepper would do the trick, as would anything your in the mood for, say Cajun mix or some Rosemary salt... whatever you like, (-8 ...and that's pretty much it! I do about 60% sour cream to 40% veggie mix but there's no rules... you'll just get something else delicious if you change the ratios, (-8 To keep it all low carb for me I use Pork Rinds for dipping but you can use whatever works for your lifestyle... though the mix is a bit substantial, almost a meal, so regular chips might be to fragile if you're not careful, (-8
*sips more tea and gets to next Refashioning!*

*Out of Tetley Bold and goes with... Irish Breakfast tea, sets up candycane candle to fend of the super dark and dreary outside, watches witchy and crystal videos and gets back to Vampirizing some Sphinxes on my Refashioning list!*
...also, Pooka's been working on the most delightful of Yule things that I'm majorly excited to play with and I think everyone will love, (-8 I've got a few thematic films lined up for watching while we work on it... but it's to spoilery for me to mention, (-8
...and I'm excited to watch Cobra Kai tonight!

I'm so excited for Yule! I've got my holiday music playing while I work and started visiting some the holiday markets around the city. It's super crowded but you can feel the energy, and that's probably one of the few things that staves off the coming winter blues Especially now since it gets dark around 4PM like ;-;

I don't start any winter holiday stuff until after Thanksgiving. LOL But it's hard to believe that the holidays are just around the corner!

We've got to straddle a middle ground of Yuletide celebration! There's the part of me that doesn't want see christmas stuff on the shelf beside halloween stuff or hear jingle bells on the Store radio on Nov. 1st... but also in order for us to get Sphinxes Yule stuff ready for Yule we've got to start early and jump right into the holiday mood which means thematic movies and music plenty early, (-8 I'll prob set up my Yule display soon to get extra in the holiday mood!
I haven't been to a nice Yule Market in over 20 years! There was a nice one where we lived own south in Kitchener which has a huge German history. We don't really get anything even close up here... So I mostly make due watching European winter market walkthroughs, (-8
Ah, what I wouldn't do for a walk in any of the classic German or Austrian winter markets! I want a giant heart cookie and some pretty marzipan fruits or animals, (-8
