I'll have to share that video with my work team, Mr. Pooka! Has some great suggestions in it.
Also, your image has me thinking my dog is actually a cat... We've always suspected it, but now it's been confirmed. I imagine its some sort of Men in Black set up where there's a small feline aline controlling the body. X3
That is good news Phoenix! I don't know how I would cope if any of my puppers went missing at this point in time. Much less a pup that was 13 years old! Glad to hear she was returned swiftly.

I braved the Costco and Raleys today. Returned.. somewhat successful. I made sure to buy only what I would need and only in small amounts. The only thing I would LIKE to get is some additional TP as we're down to 6 rolls. BUT I'm not panicked.
That's a lie. My social anxiety has only been made worse thanks to this Covid-19 thing. But less on that. I hope everyone is staying safe! <3 virtual hugs to everyone.

I just got asked if I wanted to go to the grocery store. I told her it wouldn't be advisable for more then 1 person to go anywhere :/
We are doing ok. I still get really anxious with things though.
Some light news--some of the spring bulbs are starting to come up. I want to dewinterize the entire garden but its too soon. I also see the bunnies and squirrels have started their om nom rampage. Fewer bulbs this year and some leaves have bunny chewmarks.

We've hit our official 'haven't left the house' 2 week mark. Everything is fine here with nothing to much to report except for baking adventures and working on Sphinx stuff I can't talk about for a couple of weeks, (-8 I check in every day to make sure everyone is doing ok... things are moving along well for some and stressful for others... and hopefully we can help out with one side of that at least, (-8 So here in Canada we're getting prepared for at least 3 or 4 months of staying settled in... I've got a couple of pantry plans like sprouting some lentils and some of my seed collection to balance out the fresh veggie nutrition... I'll take some pics and offer some suggestions if anyone is interested, (-8 (I find easy food growing is a fun and timely project!) I'll prob add full instructions, links and pics in the recipe section as I go. I've also been doing a lot of prep work for future pantry meals... like yesterday I took out a large roast beef, much more than one dinners worth for us, and sliced all the extra nice and thin (then spiced it up a bit and added some corn starch) to fry up for Ramen toppers over the next couple of weeks. Just a tiny bit of something meaty or yummy/extra makes a bowl of ramen (or rice or salad or etc.) goes a long way towards making a rectangle of noodles change from a survival food to a delicious meal. (extra tip, I portioned the cooked beef with wax paper, two pieces per, before putting them all in a big freezer bag for easy pulling out later) ...and a couple of days ago I made Cinnamon Buns, (-8 a perfect fix for quarantine blahs! I was going to take some step by step pics but forgot till halfway... (The link for the recipe is in the recipe section and they are the best I've every made/had)

nom nom! Makes me want to do the GF version but its a pain in the butt and I don't have the ingrediants ^^' Bet they freeze well!
Well, I continued to dewinterize today. Fell and sprained my ankle..typical accident prone MA >> Also found out that the yard waste thing has been suspended. And the bin is full tot he brim with winterizing leaves and needles...and I still have leaves I need to get in the bin...
But seeing the tiny leaves pop out is nice. It will be nice to see the blooms but I don't expect that for another few weeks atleast. And..the lungwort looks like it took a beating. im not sure if its rabbit or just cold sensitive. Ill blame the bunnies >>
The lavender is going strong, and the thyme and parsley of all things (you saw that right o.@) is also going. Oregano, chives..sage I think maybe? Green onions...I think my lemonbalm survived too but its still under tarps cause that one is totally cold sensitive. And the strawberries...omg. Trails going where they are not meant to go. I tried to replant the brats but I don't think they will make it. If they do im thinking im going ot have to separate that plant >>
I still want to draw..but ive been holding back. hand and wrist and..yeah. I think the major thing for me right now is that the wedding date is in linbo. atm it IS a go (they suspended all events up until a week before our date) but its a week by week thing. Just watching the tv and listening to the updates (directly from our PM and provincial brat--sorry, im not a fan of Doug ford) I...really don't know. Im beside myself.

(-8 those buns are pure heaven, and I totally wish I could share scorpio! ...and they might freeze well MA but I've never tried... they'd never last long enough around here to test that out, (-8 The closest thing to outdoor spring clean up here is this... I took this a couple days ago, something our southerners might not have seen before. We usually get so much snow around here that when it gets to high and the roads get to thin to drive on because there is just nowhere else to put it, and in the spring to prevent flooding the sewer system, the city drives these giant snowblowers around and fills hundreds of dump-trucks full of snow to be carried away from the city... It leaves these oddly interesting flat snow walls along the roads which are kind of cool to look at... you can see all the layers of snow and ice from every storm and event, (-8 That's some awkward timing there MA... I hope something awesome comes of all this for you! (not a good suggestion, but I did see an article about another wedding that had to be canceled but they instead held it in an animal crossing game with all of their friends and family!) I'm def not a Doug Ford fan, or a Micheal Scheer fan for that matter but I do love watching all levels of Canadian government coming together regardless of faction/beliefs/philosophies, putting aside any notion of partisan politics to just work as one unit with one goal, keep us all safe, healthy and alive. Go Canada!

Self quarantine has been pretty boring, but I'm determined to get some reading and exercise done! I don't venture out much for anything other than to get some sunlight and hopefully some riding in. Social distancing is easy on open land and no one wants to touch their faces after mucking dirty stalls or picking hooves, lol.
But on a more serious note, it's been stressful too. My aunt went to Tennessee for some reason and became infected. I think with her age, the deterioration of her lungs happened so fast they had her in a hospital sedated for about a week-ish. Doctor told my cousin (her son) and my dad at this point it would be an awful experience for her to be conscious... she'd never be able to breathe properly. So she passed away after they turned off the respirator.
Annnd then my sweet neighbor tested positive too. She's been in the hospital, but they let her come back home. So far she's recovering slowly but steadily, fingers crossed!
So it while I'm physically fine, it's been kinda... yeah out there ^^;

I'm so sorry Sio for your family. It's a horrible thing to go through at anytime and I'm sure only made worse because of the things going on now and the suddenness of how that happened. Many hugs and condolences to you and your family sweetie.
Though exercise and sunlight are great things to try and catch up on even when we're practicing social distancing. <3
Cam, I can't get that link to work. Can you PM it to me? I'd like to see it.
And Mr. Pooka, those look so tasty!
I made brownies yesterday and Paul made chili today. I kind of really enjoy when he makes his chili. 1. cause it's so tasty and 2. I don't have to do anything for it :P So it's like getting a free day for me. Plus it's enough to keep us in chili for a couple of weeks. (Since we can portion it out and freeze some).

Awee Sio. I really don’t have words. That’s the worst fear of all those around me. I’m terribly sorry that your experience has included this. 😔
Thanks for notifying me on this Toxi! I can’t get another link other than what I posted, but if you type “if the planets had a conversation” into YouTube and select the video with the planets you should be in good order. I’ve been on the floor laughing for the last few hours. XD

I'm sorry for your loss Sio
Mom and I are doing fine, so far nothing for us. My dad's good as well. My Aunt(my dad's sister) and Uncle are stuck til around the end of April over in Cyprus right now. So far that island is not infected, so they're safe and have stocked.
I'm just hoping my 'sister' in England doesn't get this. She's battling metastatic cancer right now and England's being hit hard too.
Stay safe all <3
