D: I was afraid with all of the PI changes being very, well, not-adoptable friendly, that a lot of adoptables would be leaving PI, and this seems to be happening. It's very upsetting, since adoptables are about the only reason I play. I will try to follow elsewhere, but I have lost track of other adoptables when they've left in the past. ;n; At least I was already active on Flight Rising if that's a thing, but I have had nooooo forum activity there whatsoever. So many people I don't know... so scary. ._.
I'm sorry the changes have screwed everybody up in the sub-account department. I never did keep very many subs so I remain mostly unaffected, although the other changes that are very anti-adoptable are certainly rubbing me the wrong way. :/

It's not a FOR SURE thing right now. I just know Mr. Pooka and Pooka were talking about expanding -- so I know I'll be on this forum and FR with them always.
And I'm not leaving PI yet. But I'm really on that cusp. Like.. a feather will push me over.

Well, all I can say is that PI deserves everything that's coming to it, that is, major disaster!

I mean seriously, how could they be so inconsiderate to such a large proportion of their players? It's quite ridiculous. Luckily I never had any sub accounts, but I feel SO bad for everyone who did. D: *hugs everyone*

I'm just going to sell off my ponies. I've been hoarding them for way too long xD I've got a bit of time left on my main so I'll poke around a few remaining adoptables. But I'm with the Pookas wherever they go ^^

Out of curiosity can we pretty safely say that the Heb is concluded on the PI forums and will be wrapped up here on the Sphinx forums?

I don't thik ill be leaving PI because of this--but im still incredibly upset, to say the least.
what if one of my accounts expires without warning or time to get it renewed? Im screwed until I can get someone with an unexpired account to relay that message!

We're not 100% leaving PI... yet, but a lot of the end events will be held on the forums. Mr. Pooka's trying to figure out if he can even get sphinxes on FR before the Heb wraps up, or if we'll start a new yearly celebration over there. Although I had to hold myself back from quoting you in that other thread about noting the security risk again and pointing out that we already had that answer in the ticket, the sub accounts are working 'exactly' as intended. |

I'm refraining from doing any other posting but that, pretty much (plus my second post), because I probably will get myself banned if I actually comment on the post/no post matter.
I was actually thinking of starting up a little thread topic thing on general OT discussion on FR and pinging all our sphinx people to it to give them somewhere to talk on FR all together if that is ok with you?

I've never even looked at adoptables on FR. LOL I may have to check that out.
It really sounds like they've made the expired accounts useless in order to try and force people to pay for every single account they have access to, and MA, that's a genuine concern as well as the security risk. I just don't understand this. It wasn't an issue before, and now suddenly it's a huge deal. It really sounds like their greed is taking precedence over their customer service.

I feel badly about how upset I was getting in that thread, I think my disgruntled Phae avatar wasn't helping the situation much either. ^^; I still feel so badly that when I was trying to find a way to ask people who were purposefully just posting to troll to please not do so because they were making things worse, and it so got out of hand.  I hadn't really thought it was unreasonable to ask that if people weren't affected by the change to please refrain from posting arguments about it. And sometimes it scares me how up-in-arms Mr. Pooka gets when he's defending people. O.o Anyhow, FR discussion is a great idea!! We can start to get a list of ping people all set up on there.  We're also discussing doing a special giveaway for people who had sphinx character named RP accounts and are getting screwed due to this change. |

I've mentioned this somewhere, but being I've been posting all over the place I forget where, (-8
Personally as an adoptable owner I think adoptables flourish in concert with other sites. They are chocolate and peanut butter. My experience of watching PI very closly is that PI suffers when it attacks adoptables .They took huge blows after the kennal and lupines fiascos respectively. On the other hand fairly big adoptables have gotten fed up with PI and struck out on their own to great fanfare and then a slow death by obscurity.
We have an awesome community and lots of wonderful amazing caring stalkers but if we simply dumped PI and moved to the forums things would just slowly peter out... not by anyones fault but there is no constant entertainments to keep everyone excited wether its feeding ponies, mastering dragon combats or simply looking around at the art. We never planned to leave PI entirely but we have been looking at other sites to expand to.
Emotions are running high atm and I am extremlely displease with PI... but I just don't know what to do about them yet.
I have some interesting PI facts that I'll put in some other locked/hidden forum in the near future for anyone interested but it truly has some dark undertones. not things like "they are mean to adoptables" but things like... heh, don't need to get my one working account banned now that I think of it so I'll put that elsewhere.
Either way there are places where Sphinxes can continue and flourish and communities that can be much more welcoming!
FR seems good atm, and Deviant Art is another I like... there is a bustling adoptables and roleplaying community there as well. (plus I could make naked greek sphinxes and cute naked fairies there! trust me the fairies look simply adorable and would prob be approved for posters at a daycare.. just not on PI)
