I think for the most part emotions are running really high after the new PI changes. I was ready to bolt, and I'm still feeling a bit flighty but maybe I won't abandon it completely. Merph, who knows? I love the Solstice and if you guy are staying then I'll be poking back there as much as I can ^^

I've not been happy with a lot about PI for awhile and this is just one of those.. grrrrrr things that's bugging me now. But as I said before, I stayed on PI for the adoptables communities (and I am a part of more then one that are still there); for those communities I will stay but.. if things get worse.. I just don't know what I will do with myself. *hugs Sprocket* |

Much, much agreement there. I'm already addicted to them, they're so pretty and the RP set up on the forums is just amazingly detailed and rich.  That means so much to us, thank you guys <3 We won't be moving off PI. I honestly love it there. I love my ponies, my breeding and maxing challenges and the wonderful friends I've made. I'm sad to see you guys are considering leaving though. I'd be happy to pay for an account or two, if it means you will stick around. Don't worry, we're not leaving (yet). It would be silly to leave over the sub account issue, and we could pay for the sub accounts if we needed to... but it's the principle of the situation and how it's being treated that is making us so infuriated. But like Toxi we're at the point of being so frustrated with the site right now that it probably wouldn't take much to push us out. If this was something that was only affecting us we would grumple, be kinda miffed... but this is something that has effected many of our stalkers. We've always loved people who would get extra RP accounts based after their sphinxes, we would be so happy and borderline promoted it (we had even talked about trying to do some type of reward for each character PI account somebody had, like a special stamp for their cert). So we feel partly responsible for those who are now getting ripped off by the site happily taking their money knowing full well what people were buying it for, and then taking it away without any warning or reason. It's also why we wound up getting so up in arms over it, we're getting defensive of the people we care about.  Anyhow, we had already talked of buying at least a few new RP accounts before the change, but held off in case something upsetting like this happened. So that's not going to be happening. We also cant edit nearly anything on the front page in the Temple of Bastet, and many of our front page contests on the main thread, and that's pretty frustrating as well. We dug around last night trying to find anywhere that one of the admins or mods quoted, mentioned, or agreed to expired accounts having messaging privileges. It's really difficult to search with the move because google just takes you to the new site and your profile, and even with the forum search on the old site it still would only go back a month, and we need years. The closest I could find (so far) was Veez being asked about if expired accounts would be able to post after the news post about ponies not being able to be sent to expired accounts, you can see how she quoted the person UNDER the one who asked the question about something else, so it was read, and that question was never answered in either direction. (Which could be used on either side of the argument. That they just ignored the because they weren't supposed to, or it was ignored because it was a moot question since they did still have messaging.) I haven't found mods yet, but prominent PI members who are saying how expired accounts are allowed to be used for PM/forum posting. So there is no possible way that they didn't think that this was what many PI people were purchasing the sub accounts for. It's times like this I wish that I was a lawyer. -_- *coughs* Happier note! I follow, well Sphinxes since I own it, it would be silly if I didn't follow my own adoptable. lol I also strongly follow ITW, Samanayrs, Solstice, and Thea Rats (as much as I can, it's hard running your own adoptable and having time to adoptable stalk)I sometimes follow (ie. when I have good timing) Feral Story and Canids... sometimes the Murrah. I used to love and dearly miss Felishorns, Glassgryphs, Shee, Gypsies, Andicuri Dragons, Skyreels, Drandamurs, Cats (the housecat versions, I loved those), Miths, Seed Ponies, Kangas, and was just starting to get into Castle Clouds when they *poofed* *looks over the list* Man, I've followed a lot of adoptables over the years. O.o |

I miss doing my Cats. <3 Especially the custom posed ones, which might sound odd lol, but I always enjoyed making them. One day when it's not quite so hard I'd love to bring them back if I could. Right now I'm struggling to keep my little foxes going even with staff though. o.o I also miss collecting the felishorns and glassgryphs. I used to follow Samanyrs but I never seem to have good timing with them lol. Seed ponies I miss so much. I used to adore those. <3 canids I still follow now. I think they and sphinxes are probably my main stalking list atm. I also used to follow the skyreels and the murrah. I keep hoping those will come back. I don't thik I followed the rest. I do have a pykkin or two I think, and a ton of random others that I used to keep linked in my presentation til it got overwhelming. I think I stuck some in my photobucket but most are sadly probably lost at this point. Oh and those werewolf ones! Anyone remember those? I forget the name but they were set up to change during the full moon. I think they left during the big adoptable art fiasco. I miss them. They were awesome.

Seeing Thea Rats on your list makes me so happy. ^_^
I'm so sad we haven't been able to have events very frequently, with Cryptic so busy with Canids and school quite often, and me trying to juggle school and my great-grandmother's issues. @_@;
I miss Castle Clouds so much. ;n; I had a lot of friends in that community. I have followed so many adoptables, some hardcore, some only briefly, but it became such a quick addiction for me. *eyes her adoptable website* Some of the ones on there are sooooo old.

Let's see... I currently still follow Sphinxes, Thea Rats, Aelia, Unicorns of Kalidore, Murrah, and Solstice. I miss the MOST -- Lunacy  , Castle Clouds, Miths, Seed Ponies, and Andicuri Dragons. Miss them all so very much. As for Castle Clouds -- I'd intended to bring them back to PI after buying their rights from Sovie last year -- but I'm not sure I want to at this point. That and I've hit a rather big snaffoo with files from before. -.-; |

Lunacy! Yes, that was the name! Man, I loved those. I miss mine too. And I forgot I semi stalk Aelia also when I can lol.
ETA Also Cassie babies! I remember now because I had some Holy Grail themes ones of those LOL! I used to love them. I think I got my first custom posed of any adoptable from them too. Was Jack Sparrow. <3

Pah I think I have already voiced my upinion on the sub accounts thing. I do have a fair amount of character subs, which are now completly useless. While I highly enjoyed switching to a sub for in character posts. I guess I don't have as many accounts as some, but since I now live on my own I don't have the money to even afford the renewals. So it is simply out of the question for me either way. I also don't get why they choose to do this, not all PIers pay for their own account. Quiet a few mass quest for PG/BP so they can afford a renewal through trade. Or the adoptable/art for renewals. Or think about the people returning to PI who just want to take a peek on the forums before renwing. They will now be insta "le NOPE"
Now if there was a middle ground, that sub accounts before x date retained their forum posting ability. But all accounts after x date would aply to the new rules. Thats more reasonable. I wouldnt like it, but this isnt a kick in the shins to the people who have bought subs for characters, are using them for adoptables, or just where able to enjoy this feature before.
I have watered down my adoptable stalking to purely Sphinxes now, I occasionaly peek into other adopties. But I have to many other things on my schedule that I just lack the time and often the desire to stalk more.

I understand, but the offer will stand regardless <3 I am chuckling to myself, rereading the PI thread and looking at those who are arguing with you the most. One user in particular amuses/rankles me because the adoptable she co-owns has been "borrowing" from Solstice since we were both in Help/Ideas. So they're hardly qualified to argue from the moral high-ground  |

Wait, toxi bought castleclouds? I did not know this! Ive always been worried about sovie would be nice to see them around. I miss chibichest too. I was just getting into it when Alina Marie went poof (someone else also owns them but I remember Alina because she was supposed to do a custom). I loved Gypsies while Zarzamoara was active. They fell apart after she left...just felt like the person that took over was way greedy and then they just went poof. What else? Kaiba! Those kind of went down too And Hydra, but those didn't last very long. I have a small pockey of adoptables that I follow but im kind of restrictive due to time and such. Its currently just ITW, Sphinxes, Solstice, and seaquines. |

I would love to see them come back, but understand what an undertaking it is to revive and run an adoptable! <3 I think the old adoptables I miss the most are Skyreels, Castle Clouds, Gypsies (which were actually owned by KrystaLake, but run pretty much solely by Zaz for a good long while), Hobby Horses, Painted Unicorns, and Seed Ponies. |

Ah yea! Heh. I didn't advertise that I'd bought the Castle Clouds because I'd intended to make it a sort of... SURPRISE!! We're coming back! But, Sovie's ex-husband really screwed things up. I've got all the templates (not hybrids at this point because those were made by various artists..not all of whom are still around.)
I still want to bring them back, but I'm working through the logistics of it. It's good to know so many Sphinxes people liked them when they were around! ^^;
And Felishorns.. I miss those so very very VERY much.
